About me

Why am I passionate about Hypnotherapy and NLP?

My fascination with Hypnotherapy and NLP was borne out of adversity and my passion to help and empower others to overcome obstacles in their lives.    I take a holistic approach, using a combination of NLP,  Hypnotherapy,  and EMDR, I tailor the work specificially to your needs and am committed to help you overcome whatever problems you are experiencing, empowering you to live a healthier happier more fulfilled life.

I have been privileged to work alongside 100's of clients, making a positive life changing contribution to the lives of others through the use of Hypnosis and NLP is tremendously rewarding, if I can enrich your life in this way then mine will be equally enriched too.

Online Hypnotherapy and NLP

E-Therapy has grown enormously in popularity since the onset of COVID-19 and a building body of research shows that online hypnotherapy is as safe as face to face and just as effective.  With no significant difference in outcomes, it can be a good alternative to the traditional face to face form of hypnotherapy.

About me

I am a fully qualified and licensed Hypnotherapy Specialist, NLP and EMDR practitioner, having an online hypnotherapy practice has enabled me to connect with people from all over the world.  So no matter where you live, modern technology affords you with the freedom to choose working with me from anywhere,  however when located in the UK you can find me working in glorious East Devon.

Since graduating as a mature student from Plymouth University in 2003 I have spent more than a decade working with businesses and individuals to help improve performance. My passion however lies in personal growth and development, empowering people to achieve their full potential.  After a successful HR career In 2014 I qualified as a Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner  having undertaken training with the Devon School of NLP and Hypnosis; and subsequently further training with Adam Eason, College of Hypnosis and John Dewar School of Hypnotherapy.  I am registered to practice with the General Hypnotherapy Register.

For anyone undertaking one of my six week programmes I also offer a FREE follow-up coaching call service in the first six months after concluding your sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified and licensed Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner working in Exmouth and East Devon having trained locally with the Devon School of NLP and Hypnosis and registered to practice with the General Hypnotherapy Register.

GHR

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I utilise NLP as part of my coaching practice.

As we are in the midst of a pandemic online hypnotherapy has an important role to play in facilitating and enabling therapists to reach out and support those who are struggling emotionally with the varying challenges we currently face. The benefit of online Hypnotherapy is that it offers total privacy and security in the comfort of your own home which is ideal for maintaining social distancing and for those in self isolation, furthermore it can be more affordable.
