About me

I am Louise Beck a hypnotherapist with a pharmacy/pharmaceutical background. I have a good understanding of the human body, brain & mind plus how important it is for them to work in harmony.  I worked in a business environment following university and understand the pressures and the desire for personal development. I am a mum which I love but understand the daily stress and strains of balancing a business life!

I am accredited by the NCH (National Council For Hypnotherapy).  My services include a combination therapy approach as every client is unique. These include Hypnosis & Hypno4Children, TFT (Tapping), and NLP Coaching.

I am also a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner - Release past events, memories, experiences, and feelings that have been encoded as traumatic in your brain within a safe, calm environment using Havening Techniques ® ! The future can be bright and you can live without anxiety, stress, depression, fear, and phobias. Havening is used for PTSD and the client can use self-havening at home to develop their own brain care schedule.

As we are all different so I customise every one of my treatment plans to fit your requirements and goals. Whether it’s a small strategy tweak or a very comprehensive effort, I will sit down with you, listen to your requests, answers and prepare a customised plan just for you. A plan to get you on your own pathway to achieve your own goals or behavioral tweaks. For example, you may need an MRI scan but have a phobia of small spaces, you may be preparing a presentation for work but have a fear of speaking in public.  You may be struggling with depression or crippled by anxiety which is stopping you from enjoying your life.

Having children I feel is a gift and watching their own struggles can be very difficult for a parent/carer. You may have a child who is refusing to attend a school or who is being bullied. I have worked with children who have been unwell or scared to attend the dentist.  I use the techniques under the Hypno4Children programs to give children tools to cope with issues they may face such as bullying, exams, low confidence, and anxiety. I love the positive psychology aspects of the programs such as 'acts of kindness' as this starts to train the child's brain.  The result is that children can move through the program to work on issues they are facing and end with a positively trained brain. These are tools for life! I am an author and have written a children's fairytale book introducing many mindfulness techniques within a story setting. (Eny Greenie The Water Witch).

Often making contact is the hardest step your take, to "get started" give me a call or email to set up an initial free 30-minute discovery call; we will talk about what you want to get out of hypnotherapy; if you are happy to continue we will set up a second session.  Then we can arrange to meet weekly/fortnightly moving forward whatever you require! I often have 3 sessions in mind to start however this is driven by what you would like to achieve and what issue you wish to work through.
