Thanks for my visiting my profile, finding the right therapist to work with is so important to helping you make the changes your looking to achieve.
I believe its important for clients to feel safe and comfortable and not judged, this means they are able to be relaxed when they talk about whatever the challenges may be and how these effect and impact their life.
My clients are individuals and whatever your facing and how it makes you feels is unique to you, how you process 'stuff' is really all about what it means to you as a person as we all process the world in our own individual way based on our own backgrounds and experiences.
My real aim is to understand the world through your eyes, and help you find the path that works for you and help you make the breakthroughs and changes so your able to really move forward to living life feeling freer, calmer and in control and to achieve the things that are important to you.
Working in what's known as an "Integrative solution way " really just means I am focused on the solution for you and helping you move you look to the future, that means supporting you to make the changes firstly at a pace that's right for you but more importantly making these as lasting long term change's rather than a quick fix.
I'm a fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Counsellor using well known CBT practises, as well as being a certified NLP practitioner (Bandler and McKenna trained)
NLP is now recognised as one of the primary leading forms of talking therapies for helping people break through limiting beliefs and move on from those "stuck" thoughts and feelings.
Because I have trained across a wide number of different therapies, such as EFT and EMDR the aim is to be able to adapt to the individual so its right for the client as no form of therapy should be a a one size fits all approach.
So many people still suffer in silence around things such as Anxiety & Panic Attacks, and Low self esteem by taking a down to earth approach I can remove any stigma and show you easy to do techniques that make daily living easier.
The real definition of Clinical Hypnotherapy is health and well being of the Mind, Body and Soul.
By accessing the subconscious, we can change belief systems and habits to allow us to become happier. Hypnotherapy is still a very misunderstood area of complementary health and surrounded by myths which I hope when people meet me I dispel.
One of my big personal passions is Weight loss and Weight management, like all woman I have been on my own journey having once been 15+ stone, my most common saying about weight is its a mental burden as well as a physical one. Many people say that they can do it when they put their mind to it and that's my job with hypnotherapy
The amazing results of Virtual Gastric band give me real hope that we can beat obesity problem in the UK, I trained with Sheila Granger who has the only VGB programme which is in clinical trials with the NHS.
My background from the corporate world also helps me in my work with issues people face
in their general workplace as the demands of our working life can sometimes feel overwhelming.
We all deserve to live the life we want for ourselves.
Registered with BaTH and CNHC, who are the 2 largest controlling bodies of both Hypnotherapy and Complementary Health, with the CNHC now being recognised by the NHS on a daily basis as the go to referral point for the NHS looking to support its own Mental Health and IAPT services.
