Hi, I'm Katina Chapman and I offer a wide range of alternative therapies that complement each other. Each therapy is designed to help you empower your life, build confidence and feel stronger and healthier.
I worked for over 20 years in Human Resources as a HR Manager and Head of HR. During my time I helped many people overcome anxiety and stress, build confidence and empower their lives. I used the many skills I picked up coaching people as well as the more esoteric skills of meditation and other spiritual practises.
I work with people who are looking to make positive changes in their life. Many of my clients are looking to manage stress, get rid of fears and phobias or lose weight and adopt a new set of habits easily. Habits that are realistic, that meet their goals and that they can live with in the long term.
I recently helped a young girl, who was afraid of flying, fly for the first time to be a bridesmaid in Greece. I helped a boy with a severe fear of dogs, that he'd had his whole life, become relaxed around dogs and even get a puppy. I helped a business executive who was struggling to manage stress, increase productivity and be less stressed at the same time.
I love helping individuals and groups make positive changes in their lives. Nothing encourages me more in my business than hearing the next client who says ‘you’ve changed my life.’
I make positive changes with clients in the minimum of sessions possible. I offer a telephone consultation free of charge and will give an honest opinion as to whether hypnotherapy is the way forward or not for an individual’s issues.

The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
For best results and to make a permanent change, I recommend a programme of sessions. Programmes vary in length according to the area you wish to address, typically a programme will consist of 3 to 6 sessions. Each session is personalised to your needs and includes any supporting MP3s, and continued support throughout the programme.
Standard appointment times are available between 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and Saturday morning in Lowestoft and Norwich. Other appointments times may be available by prior arrangement.

1. Am I still seeing clients?
Yes! I am continuing to see clients online. I’m here to help. Through live online video conference, using Skype or Zoom, we can go through the hypnotic process as is we were together in the same room. I’ve been holding sessions online for years and since March the majority of my sessions have been online with clients.
2. Is it as effective?
Absolutely!. Research shows that online sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. Hypnotherapy online has exactly the same outcome as face-to face-therapy. The only difference between seeing me in person and having a session online is that you don’t have to travel to me. Once we begin the process, it’s the same quality experience.
A typical hypnotherapy session begins with a conversation about your goals and a brief explanation of what hypnosis is. Then, once the formal hypnosis process begins, typically, you are sitting in a comfortable chair, relaxing with your eyes closed. At this point, it doesn’t matter whether we are in the same room together or not.
3. What do I need for an online session?
You can use your desktop, tablet, or even your phone. Sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or your office. Anywhere where you have a good internet connection and can sit comfortably without being disturbed.
4. Client feedback
Live online video sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions. Sometimes they can be more effective because we can get that result in the environment where you most need the support. Imagine the changes in your health and your focus when we hypnotically create the results in the environment in which you want to produce the change. This can be especially effective if the habit or behaviour you want to change is something you do at home or at work for example overeating, smoking. or trouble sleeping.
