Clinical Hypnotherapist - Helping you to feel better

About me

Hi, I'm Jen, as a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist I help people to feel better by helping them to move forward with their lives, reduce their anxiety and stress, sleep better, feel like themselves again and live their best lives.

Using gentle techniques clients see small changes which add up to the main change they are seeking in their lives: peace of mind and body.

During each session I will work with you to help you to move forward with your life, to get the real you back, by helping you to feel better, reducing your anxiety, sleeping better, improving your mood, achieving whatever it is you want in your life so you feel at your very best.

I work with you to reduce your anxiety and stress and work towards the future you wish to achieve.

Sessions are relaxed and have a positive feel, no dwelling on the past or digging around in the problem.

By encouraging you to move forward gently, you can address any negative behaviours and create new, more positive patterns and habits which increase confidence and self-esteem and reduce stress and anxiety.

In this way, I help you feel better by helping you improve your sleep, feel more positive, reduce your anxiety, and help you make the changes you want to make, which make your mood better and you feel healthier and move on with your life.

Rather than focus on the problems, I help you to focus on the solution, whatever that may be and this will help you to feel more in control and better able to make those decisions that may be healthier and more positive in your life.

Set in quiet, semi-rural Aughton, Ormskirk, my clinic is private and relaxing, allowing you to feel calm and ensure you can relax and make those changes you want to make.

Utilising my background in Midwifery and Sexual Health I specialise in Women's Health (Anxiety and depression relating to Fertility issues, Pregnancy, Postnatal and Birth trauma, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, Endometriosis and Menopause to name but a few) and all the pressure life as a woman brings with it.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help treat disorders that are exacerbated or triggered by anxiety and or stress as well as so much more and so if you find you have symptoms that are exacerbated by anxiety, then Hypnotherapy may help you feel better both physically and mentally.

The last few years has triggered health anxiety in many people or highlighted phobias people have previously thought they had under control, and using gentle techniques to reduce the effect these have on people's lives I can help you to be free of the hold they may have upon you.

Covid has also left many people with PTSD following traumatic events, or symptoms of Long Covid and the type of hypnotherapy I do gentle helps clients to move forward from the past events enabling them to live the life they want to live.

Each session lasts no more than an hour, Phobias are generally treated in 4 sessions, however, this is determined during the first session, and if I recommend more sessions, it is so that I can ensure that your treatment is as successful as possible.
