About me

Hi, I'm Jen, I will work with you to help you to move forward with your life, to get the real you back, by helping you to feel better, reducing your anxiety, sleeping better, improving your mood, achieving whatever it is you want in your life so you feel at your very best.

As a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist I will work with you to reduce your anxiety and stress and work towards the future you wish to achieve.

Sessions are relaxed and have a positive feel, no dwelling on the past or digging around in the problem.

By encouraging you to move forward gently, you can address any negative behaviours and create new, more positive patterns and habits which increase confidence and self-esteem and reduce stress and anxiety.

In this way, I help you feel better by helping you improve your sleep, feel more positive, reduce your anxiety, and help you make the changes you want to make in your life, which make your mood better and you feel healthier and move on with your life.

Rather than focus on the problems, I help you to focus on the solution, whatever that may be and this will help you to feel more in control and better able to make those decisions that may be healthier and more positive in your life.

Set in quiet, semi-rural Aughton, my clinic is private and relaxing, allowing you to feel calm and ensure you can relax and seek help.

Utilising my background in Midwifery and Sexual Health, I am now seeing more and more clients with pregnancy anxiety, postnatal depression and anxiety, birth trauma and PTSD (both mum's and dad's) complex gynae and sexual issues and PMS/PMDD. Hypnotherapy is beneficial for so many things not limited to these issues and can greatly improve the suffering women and men can experience in all areas and aspects of their lives.

As of April 19th 2021 I am running my clinic as a 'Blended clinic' offering both Online and In-Person face to face hypnotherapy in my clinic, following guidelines set out via AfSFH, CNHC and NCH and the government regarding Covid-19 restrictions and prevention of spreading the virus.

Online sessions are just as effective as face to face, and during this tricky time, having online treatment allows you to get the help you need for anxiety and stress-related issues.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help treat disorders that are exacerbated or triggered by anxiety and or stress as well as so much more and is not limited to the following:

  • Anxiety and Anxiety disorders,
  • IBS,
  • Sleep issues,
  • Grief
  • Pregnancy anxiety, childbirth trauma, postnatal depression and PTSD.
  • Menopause,
  • Weight Management,
  • Low Mood,

  • Phobias such as spiders, fear of flying,
  • Panic attacks,

Each session lasts no more than an hour, Phobias are generally treated in 4 sessions, however, this is determined during the first session, and if I recommend more sessions, it is so that I can ensure that your treatment is as successful as possible.

The Stop Smoking session is a stand-alone 2-hour long session.
