About me
I was always something of a therapy sceptic, but found myself in a helping role in higher education where dealing with mental distress was part of my responsibilities. After facilitating meditation sessions for some time, I was led to try Focusing (Gendlin's practice of listening to the body). I really enjoyed this and decided I would like to do more of this and gained a skills certificate in this approach. But I felt something was missing, so I studied for a certificate in hypnotherapy for a more thorough grounding in talking therapies. As part of my ongoing training I have studied Ericksonian hypnotherapy, rapid inductions and several courses from the Human Givens approach. I am now also a BFA-recognised Focusing Practitioner.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I have been honest about issues I can confidently deal with and have some knowledge of, but if you have an issue not listed, please get in touch anyway and we can talk it over as I might still be able to help..
