About me

Hi there! Welcome to my page!
I’m Jane. I’m a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist based in Brighouse, dedicated to helping people break free from anxiety, Stress, Phobias, Habits. Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety,  low mood, panic attacks, ptsd, insomnia, sleep issues, and women through peri-menopause and menopause transition. I work through a compassionate, science-informed approach.

For me, hypnotherapy is about so much more than just techniques—it’s about people. It’s about creating a space where you feel truly safe, understood, and supported. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and together we gently find a way forward.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, evidence-based approach that focuses on where you want to go, rather than where you’ve been. There’s no need to revisit past traumas. Instead, we work on strengthening your inner resources and building the positive change you want to see in your life, solution focused hypnotherapy is the bulls eye for supporting those with anxiety, phobias, habits, assertiveness, social anxiety, and stress. This approach is also ideal at targeting hot flushes experienced during menopause, which can be exacerbated by stress or anxiety.

I can teach you self-hypnosis, relaxation techniques and work with you to support any issues you want to work on.

I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD), and I regularly update my skills through continued professional development. As a registered member of the APHP and NCH, I work to the highest professional and ethical standards and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

At the heart of my practice is rapport. When you feel comfortable and supported, real transformation becomes possible. Whether you choose to see me in person or work with me online, you’ll find a calm, welcoming space where change can begin.

My own journey with hypnotherapy began through anxiety, burnout, and overcoming a phobia , which means I truly understand how it feels when life throws you off course and how powerful it can be to rediscover your way forward. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, sleep issues, or emotional overwhelm, I’ll walk alongside you, one gentle step at a time.

As a highly trained and qualified Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist, I’m passionate about helping women of all ages overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and unlock their full potential. Using the latest techniques in psychotherapy and hypnosis, I support clients in managing anxiety, stress, phobias, social anxiety, sleep issues, low mood, unhelpful habits, and performance-related challenges.

Why Choose Me ?
Clients often describe their experience with me as transformative, not only because of the calm and clarity they gain, but also because they finally understand what’s happening in their mind and body. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and focused on helping each person move forward with confidence and purpose.

I specialise in helping clients manage anxiety, stress, phobias, low mood, social anxiety, weight management, insomnia, and perimenopause, driving anxiety or test/ exam preparation.

These challenges often affect more than just how we feel, they can influence our hormones, mood, energy levels, and tolerance, impacting every area of daily life. Through Solution Focused  Clinical Hypnotherapy, I help clients understand how the brain drives certain thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. By recognising these patterns, you can learn to respond differently, regain control, and restore emotional balance.

Here’s what some of my clients have shared about their experiences:

“I’ve struggled with anxiety and stress for most of my life, and after hearing about solution-focused hypnotherapy, I decided to give it a try with an open mind. From the very first session, I noticed a difference – I felt calmer almost immediately. What really stood out to me was how Jane guided me to focus on the positives and the solutions, without needing to dive into my problems. That alone was such a relief.”

“I was completely amazed when she explained how the brain works. For the first time, I felt like what I was experiencing was normal, and that there was hope for me to feel better... After just six sessions, I’m already noticing huge changes in my life. I feel calmer, more positive, and my mindset has shifted in such a powerful way. It’s been life-changing for me.”
“I came to Jane with a phobia I had been battling for quite some time, and I’m thrilled to say that after just four sessions, it’s completely gone. Jane has a way of making you feel comfortable right from the start—she’s so easy to talk to and really put my mind at ease. Thanks to her, traveling and working feel like entirely new experiences, and I can’t express how grateful I am for that.”
“I really wanted to quit vaping but wasn’t sure hypnotherapy would actually work. I’d tried quitting for over a year, but nothing stuck. After my session with Jane, I understood how vaping is more of a habit than an addiction. It’s been a month now, and I haven’t felt the need to vape at all. I feel better, have more energy, and would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to quit vaping or smoking.”
“As a busy working mum, I can’t express how grateful I am for the experience we had with Jane. My teenage son had been struggling with sleep for quite some time... In just four sessions, the transformation was remarkable. He became calmer, more balanced, and his interactions with others noticeably improved – all because he was finally getting proper rest. Jane explained the science behind the brain and sleep in a way that really clicked with him. This experience has genuinely changed our family’s life for the better.”
These stories reflect the heart of my work, helping clients understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is always to provide a safe, supportive space where you can relax, refocus, and rediscover the best version of yourself.
