About me

Hello and welcome. I'm George and I am a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist working with a range of psychological and emotional issues. For the past 5+ years, I have been specialising in mental health support and have successfully helped my clients to understand how the brain works and with hypnotherapy, they have been able to implement positive change at a subconscious level.

Have you found yourself in a constant feeling of being down?

Perhaps you are experiencing panic attacks or excessive tiredness?

Or are you stressed and more irritable lately and unable to explain your unusual behaviour?

Maybe you have already tried other things and have reached a point where you just need help to move beyond where you are?

Whether you are looking for support for anxiety or depression, or you just want to get to the root cause of a particular issue and 'fix it', I can help you.

How can hypnotherapy help you?

The first step is to identify what you want to achieve. We focus on that, and the solution. Hypnosis, and the state of trance, is a very safe procedure, which can help you reduce stress and anxiety. This is done very simply through relaxation techniques, which allow you to focus on the positive aspects of your life. This helps to encourage the shift in your perspective which is central to the process.

Research shows that the solution focused model can help people make significant and positive changes relatively quickly. I use a model that focuses on solutions rather than problems. We work together, in a way that is positive and encouraging, to enable you to use those tools that you already have to make the changes that you want to make.

Because we work in a positive manner, we don't spend time on the negatives; that means that a course of sessions with me will be much shorter than with other types of therapy. A typical course will be 8-12 sessions, initially weekly, then bi-weekly as we see progress

Our first formal consultation is free. I'm happy to talk over your issues and suggest a course of action. Please message me on here or call me on 07703 162 072

Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH)

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Further information

Imagine yourself being in a place where you are able to deal with the stresses of everyday life, and to switch off at the end of the day. Imagine you are balanced and and calm with no panic attacks or a general anxiety about life. Imagine you are living without pain, completely drug-free and more relaxed than ever before?

After my first consultation with George I could not have asked for better help with managing my anxiety. George is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and caring and helped me to develop positive techniques and relaxation skills, which have not only made my anxiety easier to manage but has helped me sleep better than I have in years. Incredibly I also feel more like myself than I have in a very long time. George will tailor your sessions to suit your individual needs and will take you through each step of the process at your own pace. After only a few sessions I could feel myself becoming more positive and looking for the good things I had around me.

Cannot thank George enough for his help during our hypnotherapy sessions, it has brought me back from the shadows of my stress and anxiety. Please look no further, a new positive outlook on life is only a phone call away.

If you have ever thought about Hypnotherapy than George Is the person to help you out. He helped me with my Achondroplasiaphobia which I have had for a good few years. He was happy to answer all of my hundreds of questions and made me feel at ease.

DM, Edinburgh

George helped me through a period of emotional turmoil. With the techniques he taught, I was able to navigate the crisis and ultimately steer into calmer waters. I still use the techniques when I need peace of mind or clarity of thought, and I would certainly recommend his service.
