About me
The relationship’s over. The aftershock isn’t.
I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in relationship and breakup recovery, helping people who feel emotionally stuck, overwhelmed or caught in painful patterns to understand what is happening beneath the surface and begin moving forward with greater confidence and self-trust.
You may be trying to recover from a breakup or separation, struggling within a difficult relationship, finding it hard to trust again, or noticing that the same unhealthy dynamics seem to repeat. Sometimes you can understand exactly what is happening on a rational level and still feel unable to change how you react, what you tolerate, or what you keep being drawn back towards.
My approach is warm, practical and rooted in psychology. I combine clinical hypnotherapy with relationship recovery work to help you explore the deeper emotional responses, associations and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck, and support you in creating healthier ways of thinking, responding and relating.
I am particularly interested in the gap between knowing and feeling. You may know a relationship was not right for you, yet still miss the person intensely. You may know you deserve better, yet find yourself second-guessing your own judgement. You may want to move forward while another part of you remains caught in memories, hope, fear, guilt or unresolved hurt.
Hypnotherapy can offer a different way of working with these deeper responses. Rather than relying only on conscious insight, it can help you explore the automatic thoughts, emotional associations and established patterns that may be influencing how you feel and behave.
Through my work at Breakup Sanctuary, I have developed a particular focus on helping people recover from relationship loss, rebuild confidence and self-trust, and break patterns that no longer serve them.
Sessions are compassionate, non-judgemental and purposeful. My aim is to help you understand what has been keeping you stuck, feel more in control of your emotional responses, and move forward with a stronger sense of who you are, what you want, and what you are no longer willing to settle for.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2022 and have since focused my practice particularly on relationship and breakup recovery.
My training gave me a strong grounding in clinical hypnotherapy, therapeutic communication, relaxation and visualisation techniques, working with subconscious patterns, and helping clients explore the thoughts and emotional responses that can keep them feeling stuck.
Alongside my hypnotherapy work, I bring many years of experience working closely with people in emotionally demanding situations, including supporting confidence, anxiety, stress, self-esteem and behavioural change.
My specialist interest is in the emotional impact of relationships - particularly heartbreak, separation, difficult relationship patterns, loss of confidence, rebuilding self-trust and helping clients move forward after experiences that have left them feeling destabilised or unsure of themselves.
I continue to develop my knowledge through ongoing professional reading, training and research in psychology, relationships, attachment, emotional regulation and recovery after relationship loss.
