About me
I'm Claire, a Clinical Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist with an advanced professional qualification in Clinical Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, accredited at the highest level Level 5 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). I trained at the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
My practice is centred on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and subconscious patterns. By integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with clinical hypnotherapy, I provide a structured, evidence-informed approach that supports lasting psychological and emotional change.
CBT focuses on identifying and restructuring unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours, while hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind in a deeply relaxed state to reinforce healthier beliefs, emotional resilience, and positive behavioural change. Together, these approaches create a powerful and effective therapeutic model known as Hypno-CBT.
I have a specialist interest in supporting recovery from trauma and the following journey to finding yourself again, as well as Equestrian Performance. Getting back in the saddle after an accident or loss of confidence. Horses have been a life long part of my life and have taught me the value of trust, resilience, and connection. Alongside my love of nature, animals, yoga, and meditation, they continue to shape the calm, compassionate, and grounded approach I bring to every client.
Like many people, I've experienced life's unexpected twists and significant personal challenges. Those experiences have deepened my understanding of how powerful the mind can be - and how, with the right support, change is always possible.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools to move forward with confidence.

The Science behind Intuita
Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic technique that uses hypnosis to help you reach a state of deep focus and relaxation. In this calm state, you remain fully in control, it is often used along
The brain is constantly adapting through a process called neuroplasticity - the ability to create and strengthen new patterns of thought, emotion, and behaviours.
At Intuita Hypnotherapy, I combine Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy to work with the way the brain processes experience, beliefs and automatic responses. CBT helps engage the prefrontal cortex, the area of the brain responsible for reasoning, decision-making, emotional regulation, and conscious awareness, allowing you to recognise and reshape unhelpful thoughts patterns.
Hypnotherapy supports this process by creating a deeply relaxed, focus state where the brain can become more receptive to learning new perspectives and behavioural change. By working with conscious awareness and deeper automatic processes, Interrupting old patterns and strengthens healthier responses.
Through understanding the relationship between Brain, Thoughts, emotions and Behaviours. INTUITA helps you build greater resilience, improve emotional regulation, increase confidence, and create sustainable change.
