About me

I provide clinical hypnotherapy for adults and teenagers who want to reduce stress, improve emotional wellbeing and create lasting positive change.

My practice has a particular professional interest in chronic pain recovery and nervous system regulation, drawing on evidence-informed approaches alongside clinical hypnotherapy.

My approach combines evidence-informed clinical hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioural approaches, solution-focused techniques, Ericksonian hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), mindfulness, breathwork and nervous system regulation. Every session is tailored to the individual, recognising that everyone's experiences, goals and pace of change are different.

Many people seek hypnotherapy during periods of stress, when they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns or would simply like to feel calmer, more confident and more in control of their lives. Hypnotherapy can help people develop new perspectives, strengthen helpful habits and build greater emotional resilience.

Alongside hypnotherapy, I integrate gentle mind-body approaches where appropriate, including relaxation skills, breathing techniques, movement awareness and practical strategies that clients can continue using between sessions.

I offer a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their goals safely and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Mindfulness Based Clinical Hypnosis, which incorporated training in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis, solution-focused counselling skills, and mindfulness teaching.

Alongside my clinical hypnotherapy qualification, I have undertaken further professional training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy®, TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), the Buteyko Breathing Method, Embodied Pain Science Education and nervous system regulation.

Before training in clinical hypnotherapy, I worked extensively in movement, rehabilitation and clinical bodywork, completing a Professional Diploma in Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage (BTEC Level 6), alongside further training in fascia movement and therapeutic exercise. This background has given me a deeper understanding of the relationship between the mind, body and nervous system.

I believe professional development is an ongoing process and regularly undertake further training to ensure my practice remains informed by current evidence and best practice.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I have a particular professional interest in chronic pain recovery and persistent mind-body symptoms. My approach draws on a combination of clinical hypnotherapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), pain science, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, Buteyko-based breath retraining and movement-based approaches. I support people in developing a greater sense of safety, confidence and trust in their body, with an approach tailored to their individual needs.
