About me

As an ex-serviceman I have a ready insight to service and blue light personnel attitudes and thinking, which affords me a a level of insight to what a client may be experiencing by way of PTSD and other connected disorders.  My experience with helping currently serving and ex-service personnel along with all blue light professionals, has given me the opportunity to work with, and help, people from as long ago as Viet Nam, N'Ireland and, more recently Bosnia, Iraq and Afghan War veterans.

I also work with children and adults with learning difficulties (Dyslexia, ADD, etc) and very often with children considered to be "Slow Learners."  To me the classic "Slow Learner," is someone who hasn't yet found their particular learning style - and everyone has one.

Training, qualifications & experience

I first trained with Woodbury Counselling and was first recognised as a Licentiate Member of The Hypnotherapy Society, in 2001 (Diploma in  Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy).

Since returning to the UK in 2019 I have brought myself up to more modern standards by retraining with The Quest Institute, which I completed in April 2022.

Much of my work has been with ex-service personnel helping people recover from the Viet Nam era through to Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
