About me
I'm Beau Honey and I am a professionally qualified and insured Clinical Hypnotherapist. I have worked as a hypnotherapist for over 15 years, offering help to clients to overcome their fears, and deal with trauma, phobias and anxiety. I offer a free introductory session for those wanting to find out more and explore how
hypnotherapy can help.
I believe that a positive, forward looking approach to treatment is the most effective way to help people back to happy, productive lives. Effective therapy requires a partnership between client and therapist, and every client I meet already has the resources they need to get better... this is a method of therapy that is absolutely enjoyable, it will put a smile on your face!
What is Hypnotherapy ?
In a nutshell, hypnotherapy is a safe, reliable method of treatment for many problems you’re finding hard to handle on your own - thoughts and actions you'd like to banish or acquire, or emotional suffering that is too overwhelming or has gone on too long.
Hypnotherapy is a very gentle treatment that can feel similar to daydreaming, it has no harmful side effects and is suitable for just about everybody...
Training, qualifications & experience
I have 15 years experience, and trained at the prestigious Clifton Practice in Bristol under the tutoring of David Newton.
My qualifications include :- DHP, HPD, SFBT (HYP). as well as many CPD courses covering many different aspects to therapy.
Member organisations

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
