About me
Hello. If you're having a hard time or need assistance with a challenge, I am here to lend a helping hand. I am an experienced Senior Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist BA (Hons.) DHP DSFH HPD CNHC MNCH(Reg.) supporting adults online and in person in Bristol and Bath, UK. Over the last 11 years, I have had the pleasure of working with a range of individuals from all walks of life in the public and private sectors for anxiety, stress, to build confidence, resilience and foster self-compassion.
I have experience helping individuals improve their performance in specialised areas of psychology, such as sports and the visual and performing arts including TV and theatre. This includes addressing problems such as fear of public speaking, managing stress, anxiety, stage fright, and building confidence.
I am grateful to have been able to contribute to the recovery of individuals who have gone through medical trauma, assist in preparing for medical procedures, and support the rehabilitation of those who have been injured in competitive sports. I have assisted individuals suffering from disorders and conditions that are exacerbated by stress and anxiety, such as shy bladder syndrome, IBS and voice disorders such as Spasmodic Dysphonia. During the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to assist essential workers in coping with stress and anxiety.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative approach that combines psychotherapy and hypnosis. The therapy is short-term and goal-focused and incorporates SFBT, CBT, mindfulness and positive psychology principles and practices to help clients instigate change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems. By equipping individuals with resources and tools, they can feel more in control during what is often a difficult time in their life.

Some clients choose to use some of their training or wellbeing budgets to pay for their sessions, and it is worth considering that this is also an option, especially for clients seeking help with public speaking, anxiety and stress management directly related to work performance. Hypnotherapy is also offered through some private healthcare providers. Private health cash plans allow you to spread the cost of certain healthcare expenses for a regular monthly premium. There are a variety of companies that provide this, with a range of benefits and costs.
