About me

I am an experienced Registered Senior Clinical Hypnotherapist BA Hons. DHP HPD DSFH CNHC MNCH (Reg). With a lifelong interest in mindfulness, neuroscience, performance and corporate experience, it is my privilege to guide and support clients to build the resilience they need to manage various issues, including anxiety and stress – and ultimately lead happier lives.

Being wholly committed to my personal and professional development and cultivating curiosity and compassion over the years has helped me hone my approach and informs my work in the areas of fear, anxiety, and stress. I have had the pleasure of supporting a range of people from all walks of life in the public and private sectors and specialist areas of performance psychology – fear of public speaking, stage fright, and optimal performance in sport and the performing arts.
Hypnotherapy combines modern, evidence-based, clinically proven therapeutic techniques (talking therapy) with Hypnosis (trance) to help people make positive changes, cope with challenges, and improve their quality of life.

‘Annette has been fantastically helpful for me; straight from the first session, I was sure that I’d made the right decision in booking a session. This has had an immense impact on my life as I feel I can now be myself in all situations, without stress and anxiety holding me back.’

Further information

It is a great privilege to help people manage fear, stress and anxiety – and ultimately lead happier lives. I am an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist with a lifelong personal interest in meditation, a rich performing arts history, and corporate experience heading up production and project management teams. This multi-faceted experience has helped me hone my approach: a synthesis of therapeutic disciplines that informs and supports my work – from junior doctors suffering exam anxiety, professionals struggling to manage stress, and recording artists and actors looking to improve their performance.
My journey is one of transformation: the motivation behind my vocation and the positive change I seek to inspire in others. Following family trauma in my early teens, I suffered from anxiety and PTSD that affected my self-esteem, confidence and performance. Through therapy and personal practice, I learned to feel more comfortable within myself and better manage distorted thought patterns and emotions. This empowering sense of control and resilience improved my quality of life and my ability to cope with problems – it was life-changing. After ten years of experience working in private and public sector roles, I explored the mind and body in greater depth, both through academic study and personal practice, later qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
