About me

As a Senior Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Confidence and Performance Coach, BA (Hons.) DHP DSFH HPD CNHC AfSFH MNCH(Reg.), I offer both online and in-person support for adults, neurotypical and neurodivergent, to help them manage anxiety, stress, and other life challenges.

With over 13 years of therapeutic experience, I’ve supported individuals from diverse backgrounds in both public and private sectors. My expertise includes guiding clients through challenges like stage fright, work-related stress, and public speaking fears, empowering them to build resilience and confidence in high-stakes environments.

I collaborate with organisations to help employees learn how to better regulate their nervous systems, manage stress and anxiety and build confidence, including where performance is involved – such as 1-1, group meetings, presentations, and conferences.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported clients in a wide range of specialised fields, from sports and the visual and performing arts-encompassing music, television, theatre, and conceptual arts to the civil service and creative agencies. My work includes helping junior doctors manage exam anxiety and supporting legal professionals in establishing a healthier work-life balance.

Beyond workplace support, I assist individuals facing personal challenges, such as preparing for medical procedures, guiding injured athletes through recovery, and managing stress-related conditions like shy bladder syndrome, IBS, and voice disorders. During the pandemic, I worked closely with essential workers, helping them build resilience and cope with stress during a demanding period.

I draw on a range of therapeutic skills, including Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), counselling, CBT, NLP, mindfulness, and positive psychology skills, all to help clients move forward with confidence.

For the past 12 years, it has been an extraordinary privilege to dedicate my efforts to supporting adults in navigating the challenges of fear, stress, and anxiety. Throughout this journey, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique experiences and struggles. Whether helping someone regain confidence in the face of overwhelming fear, offering tools to manage the relentless pressure of stress, or guiding individuals through the complexities of anxiety, it has been deeply rewarding to witness their growth and resilience. This work has allowed me to make a meaningful impact on others' lives and enriched my understanding of the human spirit and its capacity for healing and transformation.

My personal journey is one of transformation: the motivation behind my vocation and the positive change I seek to inspire in others. Overcoming adversity from trauma and personal obstacles, as well as learning self-awareness, enabled me to build resilience and improve my quality of life and my ability to cope with problems. After ten years of experience working in fulfilling private and public sector roles, I continued to explore the mind and body in greater depth through academic study and personal practice, later qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

Creativity has always been central to my life, from performing as a classically trained violinist to exploring storytelling through acting and writing for broadcast; I deeply appreciate both the challenges and rewards of creative expression. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, dancing, travelling, visiting historical sites, and spending time with my friends and family in nature. Although I spent much of my life in London, I've been based in Bristol for the past 18 years and often travel between the two cities. I'm also committed to supporting Bristol Food Banks, The National Trust, and Surfers Against Sewage.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m always learning and am currently expanding my understanding of stress management and progressing towards certification in Stress Management and Resilience Building through the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy. I recently completed a CPD in Understanding ADHD: Current Research and Practice at Kings College London and a Diploma in Counselling Skills. I hold the following accreditations, and I am registered with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) for Health and Social Care and the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) under the accreditation of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Practitioners Council (CNHC).

Additional information

Some clients choose to use some of their training or wellbeing budgets to pay for their sessions, and it is worth considering that this is also an option, especially for clients seeking help with public speaking, anxiety and stress management directly related to work performance. Hypnotherapy is also offered through some private healthcare providers. Private health cash plans allow you to spread the cost of certain healthcare expenses for a regular monthly premium. There are a variety of companies that provide this, with a range of benefits and costs.
