I'm a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, with 12+ years of experience. Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to help.

Arranging the first session is a huge step in the right direction.
Our first session will be your opportunity to tell me how you would like hypnotherapy to help and to identify what your goals are; so we can make sure you are moving towards them.
I will ask you some questions to gather a full picture of your situation, to ensure I help you in the best way possible.
I’ll explain how the brain works, to enable you to understand why you may be thinking, feeling or behaving in a particular way and what you can do to change it. Having this knowledge is incredibly helpful in starting to change your perspective on things.
Following the first session, I’ll send you a hypnotherapy, relaxation download to listen to; to consolidate the work you've done and keep the momentum going in between sessions.
We’ll then arrange your next appointment.
Subsequent sessions will include positive conversation about what has been good or better since the previous session; further explanation around the brain; monitoring where you are on an agreed scale, to ensure you are moving towards your goals and positive hypnotherapy to reinforce the work you've done and allow your subconscious mind to get on board with your desired changes.

I believe that there are very few issues which will not respond well to Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

Training, qualifications & experience
As a qualified and experienced Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from the renowned Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based on the latest developments in Neuroscience and I also include elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) in my sessions.
I provide bespoke session plans for every client.
As a private client, you will be able to access support between sessions, as we work together to get you feeling calmer, more confident and clearer about your future.

I originally began my career working with children. I have also worked with adults with learning disabilities and supported women and children fleeing domestic violence in a womens refuge.
I have always felt that my calling was to help and support others to become the best version of themselves.
That started my love affair with hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.

Member organisations

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Initially I offer a FREE, no obligation telephone, WhatsApp or Zoom consultation of up to 20 minutes; which allows me to explain a little more about what to expect and how the sessions may help you and also allows you to ask any questions you may have.

I will be able to give you an indication of how many sessions you are likely to need after the first session but, I generally see people for between 4-12 sessions, depending on the issue.
Working remotely/in your home.
The benefits of working with you via Zoom, WhatsApp, over the telephone or in your own home, means you don’t have to worry about travelling to an appointment and you can relax during the session in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Apart from the first appointment, sessions will involve hypnosis; so you will simply need to have somewhere to make yourself comfortable such as a comfy chair, sofa or bed.
Please remember; commitment and motivation are necessary to gain the most benefit from the sessions.

"I have always been quite a self-conscious person. However over the last 3 years this got significantly worse and a sickening anxious feeling would be with me all day every day. It stopped me from fully being myself around my closest friends, stopped me from doing things at work that may help me progress or even the smallest of tasks/events that I couldn't get out of, would leave me feeling anxious for weeks leading up to it and then worrying about it for weeks afterwards.

After every session I had a different recording to listen to at home which I still do most days even now.
My last session was last week and what Anne has helped me to achieve in just 4 months is wonderful. My confidence has soared. I no longer have a lingering anxious feeling every day and I have even managed to do a presentation at work as well starting the ball rolling with a new position – the thought of an interview 4 months ago was not even a remote possibility.
There are days when the anxious feeling or nerves return but what Anne has taught me means the feeling may only last a few minutes as I can control what I am feeling and carry on without that awful feeling staying with me all day as it used to be.
I only wish I’d been to see Anne sooner, I cannot recommend her enough.
