About me

Hello, I’m Ann Mason, an experienced and highly qualified CNHC Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist based in Adlington, Chorley. I specialise in helping people overcome anxiety disorders, emotional challenges, phobias, children’s issues, and health-related problems that are often worsened by stress.

As a former nurse, I bring a deep sense of compassion and emotional understanding to my work. Since 2011, I have specialised in Clinical Hypnotherapy, integrating Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness to create a powerful, holistic approach to emotional and behavioural change.

My sessions combine advanced hypnotherapy methods, NLP techniques, and mindfulness practices — all carefully tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. This integrated approach works with both the conscious and subconscious mind, helping to create long-term change, often within just a few sessions.

I offer a warm, open, and non-judgemental space where you can feel completely at ease to be yourself. Sessions are available in person or online, giving you flexibility to work with me wherever you are. To help you decide if we're the right fit, I offer a free, no-obligation initial consultation (45 minutes).

You’ll also receive personalised audio recordings (MP3s) to support your progress between sessions. Regular listening helps reinforce positive changes and promote lasting results.

You can be assured of a professional, friendly, and fully confidential service at all times.

If you’d like to discuss your needs, ask any questions, or arrange your free consultation, please call 07754 180 049 or get in touch via the contact page.

I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey to positive change.

Warm regards,
Ann Mason

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
