About me
Hi I'm Alice,
If your mind feels constantly busy, overwhelmed, or stuck in anxious loops… you’re not alone.
You might find yourself overthinking everything, feeling on edge, or struggling to switch off — even when you’re exhausted. Sometimes, it can feel like your thoughts are running the show.
I offer hypnotherapy sessions online and in-person in Fareham.
Hypnotherapy can help gently quiet that mental noise.
I support adults and young people who are struggling with anxiety, OCD patterns, low confidence, and feeling overwhelmed — helping you feel calmer, more in control, and able to respond differently to your thoughts.
How Hypnotherapy Can Help:
Hypnotherapy works by helping your mind and body access a deeply relaxed state, where real change becomes easier.
Rather than trying to “force” change through willpower alone, we work with your subconscious patterns — the part of your mind where habits, beliefs, and emotional responses are stored.
This can help to:
Reduce anxiety and overthinking
Break repetitive or intrusive thought patterns (including OCD behaviours)
Improve confidence and self-belief
Feel calmer in situations that would usually feel overwhelming
Create a stronger sense of emotional control and balance
Many clients notice a shift not just in how they think — but in how they feel and respond day-to-day.
My Approach:
My approach is calm, supportive, and tailored to you.
I combine hypnotherapy with elements of counselling, so you feel fully supported — not just guided through a session.
There’s no pressure to “do it right” and nothing you need to force. Hypnosis is a natural, safe state, and you remain in control throughout.
We work at your pace, helping you feel safe enough to begin making changes that last.
Areas I Commonly Support:
Anxiety & overthinking
OCD patterns & intrusive thoughts
Low confidence & self-esteem
Stress and emotional overwhelm
Difficulty switching off / relaxing
Teen anxiety and emotional wellbeing
Getting Started:
I offer a free initial call where we can talk through what you’re experiencing and how hypnotherapy could support you.
If it feels like the right fit, we can take the next step together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 qualification in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, along with Level 5 training in Psychotherapeutic and Counselling practice. I have also completed specialist training in working with trauma and PTSD using hypnotherapy, as well as an NVQ in Child Development.
I am a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, working in line with their ethical frameworks.
My work as a therapist began over three years ago, initially in a voluntary role before moving into private practice. This foundation gave me valuable experience supporting a wide range of individuals and continues to shape the way I work today.
I have a particular focus on supporting clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. This is an area I feel deeply connected to, and I bring both professional understanding and genuine empathy into the work we do together.
Alongside my private practice, I have previously volunteered within my local community, working closely with parents, families, children, and young people. This experience has been incredibly valuable, offering ongoing learning and insight that continues to inform and strengthen my therapeutic work.
Member organisations
The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
What session feel like:
Sessions are gentle and deeply relaxing.
You’ll be guided into a calm state where your body can fully switch out of “survival mode”, allowing your mind to become more open to helpful suggestions and new ways of responding.
Over time, many clients notice:
Their thoughts feel quieter and less intrusive
They feel less reactive to triggers
They’re able to step back from overthinking
A growing sense of calm and confidence
I offer ad-hoc, block booking or regular weekly sessions, providing flexibility and ease for clients.
I work evenings but not weekends. My client-focused and led approach means that we are guided by what you need and want out of therapy.
I believe in creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply seeking personal development, the goal is to empower you with the tools and insights necessary for positive change.
