Writing for wellbeing: new beginnings

Using a series of gentle writing prompts on the theme of ‘new beginnings’, this workshop aims to help you process thoughts, feelings and find meaning by making connections. There is no right or wrong way to do this.

What you’ll need:

  • a pen/pencil and notebook (ideally this would be new or at least unused, something you will enjoy writing in)
  • a quiet space, somewhere you won’t be disturbed
  • an open mind

What you won’t need:

  • to do any preparation
  • any previous writing experience
  • to stick to correct grammar, punctuation or spelling
  • to share anything you don’t want to
