About this course
This course is aimed at those with no previous experience of hypnotherapy or hypnosis. The training appeals to people from a variety of backgrounds. Previous students have come from all walks of life. Teachers, journalists, engineers, beauty therapists, nurses, midwives, health visitors, actors, lorry drivers, BBC employees, IT specialists, police and fire brigade personnel, those looking for a new career after retirement and plenty more.
Accredited training
The ‘Professional Practitioner Hypnotherapy Training Course’ is accredited and recognised classroom-based training which surpasses the National Occupation Standards for Hypnotherapy training.
The tuition program is conducted in a modular fashion (10 months, one weekend per month) and covers all that you need to know to begin finding success in your new profession as soon as you are qualified.


KICH Principal Georgina McKinnon DHP is a busy working advanced hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. A hypnotherapy trainer for many years in both Essex and Kent. Georgina is a member of the APHP and The Royal Society of Medicine. She is also Chair of UKCHO, the organisation that oversees standards for hypnotherapy organisations in the UK.
