About me

I work with anxiety and depression, addictions, phobias and panic, eating patterns (weight loss), insomnia, and many other anxiety-related conditions, as well as offering a personalised stop / quit smoking session.

I am a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Accredited Contemporary Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, offering a solution-focussed integration of Hypnotherapy and NLP to rapidly assess your situation and therapeutic needs, and define your desired outcomes. The timeframe to achieve your outcomes is agreed between us and is often brief - in some cases of habit interruption, even just one session, with appropriate follow-up support available. In many cases, two to six sessions is the usual time-frame.

My approach is down-to-earth, clear and reassuring. I combine Ericksonian, cognitive behavioural and clinical approaches to hypnotherapy as appropriate for you and your outcomes. As a former teacher, I aim to explain things in an engaging and understandable manner. Treatment is always individualised and aims to activate your own inner resources, as well as highlighting external resources you may have overlooked and could make more use of. Clients have found they leave with a renewed sense of purpose, of what you need to do and your ability to do it, and this is built on session-by-session.

Please browse the FAQ section of the Hypnotherapy Directory as it contains lots of useful information to read before making an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you.

Appointments are also available on Grove Road, E3, near Mile End Underground station.
