Supervision details

Supervision for qualified hypnotherapists is a requirement for membership in all the major hypnotherapy organisations, and it is an essential support system to help you grow in both confidence and competence as a therapist.

Supervision with Inspired to Change is supportive, educational, motivational, reflective, collaborative and challenging – we will challenge your perspective to help you see alternative options to enable you to learn and develop, both as a therapist and as a business owner.

Unique Supervision at Inspired To Change
The new Inspired To Change Supervision programme encapsulates these aims, but uniquely among supervision models, giving all supervisees access to three supervisors instead of one across the year’s sessions – Gary Johannes, Carmen Harrington & Claire Noyelle. This provides supervisees with all the collective experience, skills and perspective each has to offer while maintaining adherence to the AfSFH guidance of having one nominated Supervisor for audit purposes.

We hope that the opportunity to experience a different viewpoint with each group session and the ability to access the knowledge of each individual’s specialities will provide a genuinely supportive and informative atmosphere that will enhance the practice of everyone who attends. This will be reflected in the ability to participate in the lively and interactive private Facebook Supervision Group to ask interim questions, offer ideas, and connect informally with supervisees all across the country.

Inspired To Change Supervision is a group supervision program with the following benefits:

72 hours of online supervision per year (3 x 2-hour sessions per month. We offer morning, afternoon and evening sessions to fit around your practice and lifestyle.)
3 level 5 qualified supervisors who are also all CPHT lectures
A dedicated peer group where members can celebrate, give and get advice from other group therapists, share book/podcast/papers reviews, CPD reviews and access input from the 3 supervisors.

The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
