Supervision details
Reflective supervision for hypnotherapists at all career stages. Structured support for clinical insight, ethical practice, and depth-oriented work.
Supervision provides a space to examine therapeutic practice, strengthen clinical reasoning, and maintain ethical accountability. I support hypnotherapists and practitioners using hypnosis who are committed to developing thoughtful, sustainable clinical work.
Working With Purpose
Sessions are structured around active engagement with your casework, professional questions, and clinical reflections. This collaborative approach ensures meaningful exploration of your therapeutic decisions, client dynamics, and ongoing development as a practitioner.
Supervision takes place online via Zoom and is suited to practitioners who value:
• Consistent engagement with their clinical responsibilities
• Reflective exploration over quick fixes
• Strengthening therapeutic reasoning and relational attunement
• Building a grounded, ethically-informed practice
I work with trainees, newly registered practitioners, and experienced practitioners seeking structured professional development.
What Supervision Includes
Clinical Case Exploration: In-depth examination of client work, including formulation, unconscious processes, relational dynamics, and hypnotic application. The emphasis is on understanding your approach rather than prescriptive solutions.
Ethical Navigation: A dedicated space to work through complex professional dilemmas with clarity and integrity, ensuring alignment with established standards.
Professional Standards: Regular accountability that supports safe, effective client care and maintains excellence in practice.
Practitioner Wellbeing: While distinct from personal therapy, supervision offers contained reflection on the emotional dimensions of clinical work, supporting long-term resilience.
Clinical Foundation
My supervision draws from an integrative base including hypno-psychotherapeutic counselling, Ericksonian approaches, analytical methods, and suggestion-based techniques. Additional training in person-centred, psychodynamic, EFCT, and mindfulness modalities informs my work. This breadth enables tailored support for your unique clinical development.
I am a registered hypnotherapist and acknowledged supervisor with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), practising within the GHR and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) ethical frameworks.
Investment in Your Practice
Recognising practitioners' varied circumstances, I offer a sliding scale structure:
50 minutes: £100 (range: £60–£120)
Focused exploration of cases, practice questions, and current concerns.
80 minutes: £140 (range: £100–£180)
Extended sessions for comprehensive case analysis and complex clinical material.
Beginning the Work
A 20-minute consultation determines fit and suitability. We'll discuss your current practice, supervision needs, and whether this approach aligns with your professional stage and goals.
Supervision consultations take place online.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy. In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers. A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
