About me
Claire Knight is a professionally qualified clinical hypnotherapist who has run her busy private practice from Tavistock, Devon, since 2001.
Claire offers traditional hypnotherapy combined with modern psychological techniques to bring about permanent and often rapid relief from a wide range of issues.
In 2010 Claire became licensed to offer the 'Hypno-Band' protocol which is the world's leading hypnotic gastric band system for those with a BMI of 30+ who would rather not risk actual surgery but are desperate to lose weight.
In 2014 Claire qualified as a ‘BWRT®’ practitioner.
‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It’s a totally confidential method that doesn’t require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your therapist and is carried out in a completely conscious state. It doesn’t use hypnosis or any mystical concepts - it’s completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and only needs you to know what you want to change in your life for it be completely successful. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. This cutting edge therapy can often clear anxiety based issues in a single session.
