About me

With a background of over 30 years in the NHS and a private Hypnotherapy clinic in Harley Street London W1, I now am based in Seaford East Sussex.

Over the past four years, working with Wendy has been one of the best investments I've made in myself. She's helped me navigate some of life's most stressful moments with kindness, compassion, and incredible insight.
Whenever I've had a session with Wendy, I leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more hopeful. It's as though a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and I always come away with a greater sense of clarity and the strength to move forward.

What I'm most grateful for is how much Wendy has helped me understand myself. She's taught me not to be so hard on myself and that my flaws don't make me any less worthy. Looking back, I can see how much I've grown—not only in the way I treat myself, but also in the way I show up as a partner, a friend, and a person. I genuinely believe I'm a better version of myself because of the work we've done together.

Wendy has such a warm, reassuring presence, and I always feel safe, heard, and supported. I honestly wish I could see her more often! I couldn't recommend her highly enough. Emma Ringmer East Sussex August 26

.................................................................................

I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough. Before finding her, I had spent years in therapy with different therapists. Although they all genuinely tried to help, I never experienced the breakthrough I was so desperately searching for. By the time I met Wendy, I had almost given up hope that I could ever truly heal or feel like myself again.

When I first came to therapy with Wendy, I was carrying so much emotional pain, struggling with anxiety, overthinking, and the heartbreak of difficult family relationships. There were times when I felt completely overwhelmed and couldn’t see a way through.

From our very first session, Wendy made me feel safe, heard, and understood. She has such a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach that I was able to talk openly about things I had kept inside for so long. She never told me what I should feel or do. Instead, she gently guided me to understand myself better and helped me find the strength that I had forgotten I possessed.

One of the greatest gifts Wendy has given me is helping me realise that I cannot control other people’s choices, only how I respond to them. She has supported me through some of the most painful experiences of my life, helping me to set healthier boundaries, manage my anxiety, quieten my overthinking, and begin to rebuild my confidence and self-worth.

When I started therapy with Wendy, I honestly believed I might never feel like myself again. Today, while life isn’t perfect, I feel stronger, calmer, and far more hopeful than I ever imagined I could. Wendy has given me practical tools that I continue to use every day, and I know they will stay with me for the rest of my life.

What makes Wendy so special is that she genuinely cares. I have always felt accepted, never judged, and always supported. Her kindness, wisdom, and encouragement have helped me through some of my darkest days, and for that I will be forever grateful.

If you are wondering whether therapy is worth it, or whether things can ever get better, I hope my experience gives you hope. After years of searching for the right help, I finally found it in Wendy. She has made a profound difference to my life, genuinely changing it for the better, and I cannot thank her enough. She is an exceptional therapist, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. I will always be grateful for everything she has done to help me become the person I am today. Caterina  July 26

I really can’t express how much I thank you for helping me get through my anxiety and rebuild my confidence. I have learned so much in the hypnobirthing sessions especially the first one- talking about and dealing with the past trauma. It had such a profound impact on me. As I have learned to befriend my own fear and not let it take over me, I am now totally convinced that giving birth is designed to be a wonderful experience rather than a suffering one. Thank you Wendy for making it all possible. I feel truly blessed to have met you, and coming to see you is one of the best choices I've made during this pregnancy.   ( Jill October 2021)

..............Wendy helped me deal with the trauma of previous major surgery a few weeks before giving birth to my daughter. I had always been cynical about therapy but knew I had to do something before going into hospital again. Immediately after the session, I felt relaxed and less anxious, but it wasn’t until I was in the hospital when I realised how effective hypnotherapy had been. I felt in control, calm, and strong. I was free to fully enjoy and appreciate a very beautiful, special moment. (Sept 2013)

  • Thank you - and a massive massive thank you for everything, especially the hypnobirthing support and advice. I really couldn't have gone in and done it so smoothly! Really really had a lovely birth and as you said, I would happily do it again tomorrow! If you'd like any recommendation etc to let me know xx
  • I am not sure how to put into words how grateful I am to Wendy for completely changing my life around.

I found out last October I was expecting again (it was our 3rd child but 4th pregnancy) we weren't trying so the shock soon turned into terror, I just literally, genuinely thought I was going to die giving birth.

My 2nd pregnancy had resulted in a missed, ruptured ectopic, I collapsed in the street and was rushed to accident and emergency but had to wait in a corridor for 2 days. It was unknown that I was internally bleeding eventually I was scanned. I required emergency surgery to remove my right fallopian tube.

I found out I was pregnant again 9 months later, it was all I could think about was to be pregnant again (too soon really I now realise as I never addressed my trauma of the 2nd). Sadly after giving birth to my beautiful daughter, I had a major haemorrhage losing 2litres of blood I was rushed in for general surgery & had to stay in the hospital for almost a week.

Slowly as time went by I started to have a fear of blood and of dying.

I developed migraines and had a couple of panic attacks.

Wendy saw me as my midwife at the beginning of my pregnancy where I broke down (she has been my midwife for all of my pregnancies) I told her all my fears and erratic thoughts and she suggested hypnotherapy.

I have not looked back since! It was quite possibly the best thing I have ever done! We went over the traumas and revisited the places that made me the most anxious and she enabled me to see things in a different light. I am the most relaxed I have been in such a long time (even with 3 children!).

I gave birth in June and I used her breathing techniques and I went to my 'happy place' quite a lot during my contractions.

It wasn't without drama at one point it was looking like an emergency caesarean as my daughter was face first but I didn't freak out I stayed completely calm and all because of Wendy. In the end, I delivered 10 mins later (after her head was moved slightly) and it was the most amazing birthing experience I have had.

Wendy, I want to thank you with all my heart, so does my husband says I am back to how I used to be!'

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Thank you Wendy for your valuable hypnobirthing course.
The trauma release therapy (tracing limiting habits & patterns) was invaluable as I was able to iron out anything I was holding onto and release this before the birth. It helped enormously as I felt freer and more understanding of my body and mind.
I played your hypnobirthing audio on repeat throughout the birth. It was a support in the background and a soothing yet empowering support that kept me going. I had the birthing experience of my dreams. I never knew it was possible and I'm very grateful.
My husband was also very relaxed and in control of himself as a birthing partner. He had come to see you for hypnotherapy and he said it was a huge benefit. For both of us, our experience was a totally different and more positive one, compared to my first birthing experience.

I had a lot of health problems with my second pregnancy so I was really concerned. But your voice and coaching made me feel as though I could do it, and I did!
