Hi, I’m Tricia, a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist with a deep passion for helping adults and teenagers who are struggling with Anxiety and much more.
Hypnotherapy can be especially effective for young people, helping them manage stress, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to cope, but it’s equally powerful for adults ready to create calm and positive change in their lives.
Through my own healing journey, I’ve discovered many powerful techniques for reducing anxiety and calming the nervous system. I’ve learned how to move out of fight-or-flight and feel back in control of my mind and body. Thanks to this personal experience and ongoing research, I now bring these tools into my sessions, sharing them with you so you can build your own toolbox of practices to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and at ease. It’s like finding your own natural medicine, without the medication.
Where do we start?
Before we begin working together, we’ll have a relaxed 15-minute chat to get to know each other a little and talk about what’s been going on for you, as well as what you’d like to achieve. During this session, I will provide a gentle, neuroscience-based explanation of how the brain works, especially regarding anxiety and overthinking. Understanding why you feel the way you do is a huge relief and the first step toward feeling more in control. There’s no pressure or obligation, just a calm, supportive space to explore your preferred future.
What to expect from a session?
A regular hypnotherapy session lasts around 50 minutes and begins with approximately 30 minutes of gentle talk therapy. During this time, we focus on the positive aspects of your life and create a small, achievable goal for you to work on over the following week. The second part of the session is where you can fully relax lying down comfortably with a blanket closing your eyes, and allowing yourself to enter a deeply relaxed trance state. This is a calm, safe experience where your mind and nervous system can reset and integrate positive change. Sessions are offered via video call or face-to-face in Hanworth.
What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, positive approach that helps you move forward without dwelling on the past. It’s especially effective for anxiety, stress, low confidence, quitting smoking/vaping, phobias and sleep problems.
Hypnotherapy calms the anxious mind and activates the logical, solution-focused side, helping you break free from overthinking and negative patterns. In this relaxed state, your mind opens to positive suggestions, helping you feel calmer, more confident, and in control. By tapping into your subconscious creativity, you can let go of old habits, explore new possibilities, and create lasting positive change. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong in your life, we work together to build on your strengths and set small, weekly goals that help you move forward with confidence and a greater sense of control.
Online sessions:
I work with clients online, using WhatsApp video call or whichever platform feels easiest and most comfortable for you whether that’s Zoom, whatsapp, or something else you prefer. Online sessions are just as effective as in person therapy in fact, many people find them even more effective. Being in your own familiar space can help you relax more deeply, which enhances the benefits of hypnotherapy. Plus, there’s no travel time, no rushing around, and you can do the session from the comfort of your sofa or bed (blanket and tea encouraged!).
All you need is a quiet, private space, a good internet connection, and somewhere comfy to sit or lie down and we’re good to go.
Face to face sessions:
I offer in-person hypnotherapy sessions from my private therapy room in Hanworth. The space is calm and welcoming, with access to a dedicated relaxation room featuring a comfortable bed and blanket to help you fully unwind as part of your session. Free parking is available on-site for your convenience.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a solution focused hypnotherapist. I trained at CPHT, a recognised centre of excellence for hypnotherapy where I gained a diploma in SFH. I hold a current DBS certificate which enables me to work with children and vulnerable adults. I am accredited with the AFSFH and the NCH.
Member organisations
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.

I specialise in supporting people who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, whether that shows up as constant worrying, racing thoughts, a racing heart, struggling to breathe, panic, or difficulty switching off at night.
I also work with people facing challenges such as: Low Mood, Depression, Confidence, Self-Esteem, Chronic pain, OCD, Intrusive Thoughts, Phobias and Fears, Grief and Loss, Quitting smoking or vaping.
