About me

Sammi Leese – Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in Sussex | ADHD-Trained & Menopause Support

I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Solution Focused Therapist, and fully accredited HypnoMenopause® practitioner. I work from my practice in Fittleworth and at Mill Yard, Petworth, and also offer online sessions. I am ADHD trained and have a strong understanding of how the ADHD brain works differently and how this can impact emotions, stress, sleep, confidence, and daily life.

I support teenagers and adults with anxiety, stress, low mood, overwhelm, sleep problems, PTSD, confidence issues, school and exam anxiety, menopause-related challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. My approach is calm, supportive, and neuroscience-informed, helping clients move forward in a steady, encouraging way.

My work brings together an understanding of how the mind works with practical tools that help you feel more in control and more confident in managing everyday life. I use techniques such as CBT, NLP, visualisation, layered breathing, anchoring, and simple daily micro-steps that support meaningful, lasting change. Many clients describe my sessions as grounding, insightful, and easy to connect with.

How I Work
Sessions are clear and solution focused, supporting manageable, lasting change towards what you want your life to look like moving forward. We work collaboratively to shift unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns and build healthier responses that support calm, clarity, and emotional balance.

Each session combines talking therapy with gentle hypnosis using positive suggestion to help your conscious and subconscious minds work together. Many clients report feeling more relaxed, more focused, and more confident, and often notice improvements in sleep, confidence, and daily routines within the first few sessions.

Who I Help
I specialise in supporting:

• Teenagers and adults experiencing anxiety, grief, low mood, sleep disruption, or emotional overload
• Young adults navigating social pressure, study stress, or life transitions
• Women going through perimenopause and menopause who want steadier mood, improved sleep, and greater emotional balance
• Parents who want to support their teenagers while strengthening their own wellbeing
• Individuals who want to build resilience, improve emotional regulation, or create healthier daily routines
• People with phobias who want to reduce triggers and rebuild a sense of safety
• Individuals living with PTSD who want to feel more in control and supported
• People with ADHD traits who want support with emotional regulation, stress, confidence, focus, and overwhelm
• Anyone who wants to understand their mind better and create more supportive daily patterns

Sessions are available face to face at my practice in Fittleworth or at Clinic 51 and Mill Yard, Petworth, as well as online. Whichever you choose, you will find a supportive, relaxed, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe, comfortable, and understood.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained with the Clifton Practice in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and am fully accredited with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I am also a qualified HypnoMenopause® Practitioner, supporting women through perimenopause and menopause with a clear understanding of how hormonal changes can influence mood, anxiety, sleep, and emotional wellbeing.

Alongside this, I am ADHD trained, with a clear understanding of how ADHD traits can influence emotions, focus, stress, sleep, and confidence, and how supportive hypnotherapy strategies can help people feel steadier and more in control.

I regularly attend continued professional development to further my knowledge in neuroscience and the latest research around how the brain works, helping me to understand why we think, feel and respond as we do, and most importantly, what we can do to support positive change.

I also hold an Enhanced DBS.

My journey into therapy began over two decades ago through Reiki and later expanded into mindfulness, meditation, and neuroscience, each step driven by personal experience and a passion for understanding how people heal, grow, and thrive.

I now combine evidence informed hypnotherapy and psychological techniques to support emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and help clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
