What is Hypnotherapy?

For those of you who have not experienced hypnotherapy, it's nothing like stage hypnosis (in other words, you won't leave me quacking like a duck or clucking like a chicken...or if you do, it won't be anything to do with our session together!). It's more like a focused dream in which your logical mind is switched off for a while, allowing your subconscious (the really powerful part) to make real and lasting changes to the way you live.

That's the reason I really love what I do: it helps people make lasting changes to their lives.

Free Consultation. I am more than happy to see you or chat with you free of charge so that you can find out more about me and the ways i work. All therapies work best when there is trust and respect between both client and therapist, so having a free initial consultation helps us both to start this process.

How Many Sessions? This is a common question and the answer is that I can't forecast an exact time-frame. It all depends on what changes you are looking to make. Insomnia can often be successfully addressed in as few as 3 sessions. Losing several stone in weight will take longer, not least because that is the only way to do so healthily according to BMA guidelines. On average people come to me perhaps 3-5 times, although some clients enjoy popping in once a month simply for the chance to switch off and relax.

Life Coaching and Corporate Work. Before training as a hypnotherapist I spent years as a consultant and mentor to businesses and individuals all over the world. To find out how I can help you set goals and achieve them, personally and financially, please call me.
