About me

When your mind feels busy, life can start to feel harder than it should.

Perhaps anxiety, overthinking or worry is taking up too much space in your head. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, your confidence has dipped, your sleep has been affected, or you simply don't feel quite like yourself.

You may have reached a point where you know you want something to change, but you're not quite sure how to make it happen.

The good news is, you don't have to stay stuck.

Hi, I’m Rebecca (Becky) a fully qualified Clinical Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist (BSc Hons, DFSH, HPD, AFSH) and Nurse with over 25 years of experience across the NHS, community healthcare, and palliative care.

I offer a modern, evidence based approach that combines solution-focused therapy, neuroscience and practical techniques to help you understand what's happening in your brain and make positive changes.

I work with adults and teenagers experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low confidence, sleep difficulties, fears and phobias, and those who feel stuck in patterns of thinking or behaviour that are no longer serving them.

My nursing background means I understand that people are more than the problem they're experiencing. My approach is warm, supportive and down to earth, while still being grounded in the science of how the brain works.

How can I support you?

I can help you to:

• Understand your patterns of thinking and how they affect how you feel
• Reduce anxiety, stress and overwhelm
• Build confidence and develop a more helpful perspective
• Improve your relationship with sleep
• Work through fears and phobias
• Develop healthier eating habits and change unhelpful patterns around food
• Manage the impact of IBS and gut-related issues, particularly where stress and anxiety are involved
• Navigate exam stress, pressure and feeling overwhelmed
• Manage ADHD-related overwhelm, busy thoughts and difficulties with focus and organisation
• Make changes to habits and behaviours that feel difficult to shift
• Feel less stuck and more able to move forward

I offer face-to-face sessions from my central Bath clinic and CK Clinic in Chippenham, as well as online sessions across the UK.

If something feels stuck, overwhelming or harder than it should right now, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.

You're welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation and we can explore what's happening for you and whether Solution Focused Hypnotherapy feels like the right approach.

My style is warm, professional and practical. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. It can be a positive, engaging and genuinely empowering experience.

If you're ready for a change, I can provide practical tools and knowledge to help you move forward positively. I'd love to hear from you.

I support clients locally in Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire in central Bath,  CK Clinic in Chippenham and online across the UK

WHY WORK WITH ME?

With a clinical background in NHS nursing and healthcare, I understand how the mind and body are connected. My warm approach bridges physical health, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour change, offering a warm, grounded and compassionate approach to therapy.

Clients often choose this approach because it is solution-focused, practical, and avoids delving into the past, instead concentrating on creating positive change in the present and future.
