About me

Hi! I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Hypnobirthing Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and Health Coach with a background in General Practice and Lifestyle Medicine. I specialise in supporting people with ongoing physical and mental health issues in understanding their experience and finding tools and resources to take back control of their health.

I have spent the last 25 years exploring how I can best support people to make the most of their health. I have studied conventional, integrative and lifestyle medicine, mindfulness teaching, clinical hypnotherapy and NLP, as well as coaching, behaviour change and habit formation.

I believe that our bodies have an innate ability to heal, and much of my focus is on supporting my clients to tap into this by creating a healthy, healing environment for themselves through their lifestyle choices and habits (physical and mental). Most people I meet know what to do, the issue is in actually doing it... and this is where coaching and hypnotherapy comes in. There are so many tools and techniques we can use to help you move forward, overcome, grow and thrive!

I am used to treating a wide variety of health, wellbeing and lifestyle issues and am happy to discuss how I may help on a free 20-minute discovery call. My areas of particular interest, and where there is good evidence for my approach are:

  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Insomnia
  • Chronic pain and fibromyalgia
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Hypnobirthing

Additional information

Free discovery call
It is really important to me to work with people I can genuinely help. This free call allows us to meet each other and discuss how and if I can support you.

Initial assessment
The focus in the initial consultation is on really understanding where you are right now. Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. A full assessment usually takes about 90 minutes.

Treatment sessions
Following the initial assessment, treatment sessions are usually 60 minutes. The number of sessions and frequency varies from person to person and will be discussed in the initial assessment.

Hypnobirthing
I usually suggest 4-5 sessions of 90 minutes for you and your birth partner. We can do these weekly or fortnightly and it is best to complete these before you are 37 weeks. Please book a free discovery session if you would like to discuss this further.
