About me

Imagine being free of anxiety and stress, being able to cope with everything life throws at you, in a calmer and more positive way.

I qualified as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapeutic counsellor in 2014, and I specialise in the treatment of anxiety, depression and PTSD. I can also help with related disorders such as panic attacks or phobias. I will help you get back control of your thoughts and emotions so you can get on with enjoying your life.  Because I understand it can be daunting to approach a therapist and explain your difficulties, I won’t judge you, but will offer a safe and confidential space to explore your concerns. I will work with you to make positive changes, gain confidence, increase your self-esteem and feel more in control.

I offer specialist, rapid treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). If you are suffering flashbacks, panic attacks, nightmares or intrusive memories due to a traumatic experience, your symptoms can be significantly reduced within 1-2 sessions. Please contact me for more information.

In order to make therapy as accessible and convenient for you, all my hypnotherapy sessions are online. This enables you to have therapy from the comfort of your own home.  Online sessions work very well and are just as effective as an in-person session.  Because I appreciate how busy you are,  I offer evening or early morning appointment slots, to fit around your work or family commitments.

Call now for your free 15 minute telephone consultation to find out how I can help you transform your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a hypnotherapist in 2014 and then went on to gain an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapuetic Counselling. As soon as I started learning about hypnotherapy, I was hooked! I loved seeing the positive effects hypnotherapy had on my clients and how they were able to change their lives for the better.

Being able to combine hypnotherapy with counselling skills and mindfulness techniques enables me to treat each client holistically and tailor sessions to meet their individual needs. It is very rewarding to hear from my clients that they have been freed from a crippling anxiety disorder, or been able to overcome phobias that that had affected them for years.

More recently I undertook training in Rewind Therapy, which is a specialised treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This treatment is extremely effective in very rapidly reducing symptoms of PTSD. Within 2-3 sessions, I have been able to liberate clients who have been affected by traumatic experiences, enabling them to feel safe again and to get their lives back.

My work is person-centred and solution focussed. This means I tailor my treatments to suit you, and to address the issues which are causing you difficulties, to enable you to make changes to your life.

I hold a Masters in Social Work from Nottingham University and I have a Diploma in Sports Psychology. I have been trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques.
