About me
Hi, I’m Neesa, a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist.
My approach is practical, collaborative and forward-focused. Rather than revisiting the past in detail, we work on calming your nervous system, building small, realistic wins, and helping your brain practise feeling steady instead of braced for danger. Sessions blend talking therapy with gentle hypnosis and tools drawn from neuroscience-informed approaches.
I support clients with stress, intrusive thoughts, low confidence, sleep difficulties, overwhelm, fears and phobias. Many of the people I work with are neurodivergent (diagnosed or self-identified), and sessions are flexible and shaped around how your brain works best.
We begin with a free, no-pressure consultation to explore what’s been going on and whether hypnotherapy feels like the right fit. From there, we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
Unsure if Hypnotherapy is right for you?
Hypnotherapy can support a wide range of challenges. I’m always happy to have a free, no-obligation consultation where we can explore your needs and whether hypnotherapy is the right fit for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
My Background & Approach
My own experience with anxiety and OCD is what led me to hypnotherapy. After trying traditional approaches without lasting change, Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy genuinely transformed how I felt and how I lived. That experience continues to shape the compassion and understanding I bring to my work today.
Therapy with me is warm, practical and collaborative (with a sprinkle of humour). I believe real change happens when we feel safe, understood and empowered. My aim is always to help you understand how your brilliant brain works, so you can let go of self-blame and focus on what’s possible.
Training & Qualifications
I trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), one of the UK’s most respected schools, and hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH).
I am:
- A registered member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
- A registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH)
- Fully insured
- Hold an Enhanced DBS
Professional Experience
Before qualifying as a hypnotherapist, I spent over eight years as a Learning & Development specialist for one of the UK’s largest energy companies. This background influences how I work - making complex ideas accessible, engaging and easy to apply in real life.
I also support trainee and qualified hypnotherapists as a Learning & Development Consultant for CPHT, helping practitioners build confidence and skill in their practice.
Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
