Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist

About me

Hello, I'm Lisa, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist based in Kingston-upon-Thames.  I work with clients online and one-to-one.  I'm in my 50's and I've lived life enough to understand how much can land on your shoulders during midlife.

Hormones and sleep can be unpredictable.  Anxiety creeps in, your mind won't switch off and your body may no longer feel familiar.  Children leave home, ageing parents need more support and work or relationships can change.  Somewhere along the way, you might find yourself wondering "where has the old me gone?"

If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.  And you don't have to stay feeling this way.

I believe it's possible to feel more like yourself again, even when life has changed.  With the right support and some practical tools, you can learn to manage anxiety and overthinking, rebuild your confidence, approach problems differently and develop a more accepting relationship with yourself, your body and your mind.

I work with women before, during and after menopause helping them navigate the emotional challenges of midlife and find a way forward that feels right for them.  I'm also developing additional support for common menopausal issues, including hot flushes and disrupted sleep, to complement rather than replace advice and treatment from your GP or other healthcare professionals.

My approach combines Hypnotherapy with elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and practical breathing techniques.  Together we explore what's keeping you stuck and build a personal toolbox of techniques you can use in everyday life.  There's no pressure to change everything overnight.  Sometimes, small steps really can make a big difference.

Alongside this work, I'm also passionate about helping people stop smoking and vaping, supporting them to make changes that last.

If you feel ready to book or if you have any questions, do contact me on 07752 520244 or email hello@focusforwardhypnotherapy.co.uk.  I offer a free 20-minute call to new clients to discuss
