About me
Hi, I'm Katie! I offer a calm and supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Through hypnotherapy, I can help you to develop greater calm, confidence, and control so that you can feel more at ease and enjoy life again. My gentle approach can help to guide you to find the solution to meaningful change.
I support people experiencing anxiety and stress from Lifeways Therapy Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon and online. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology, as well as a diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, which, alongside many years of experience working with people in practice, has given me a strong understanding of the brain and behaviour and practical tools to support positive change. I bring this together to provide a compassionate and supportive approach, focused on your individual goals.
You may have been dealing with stress, worry or anxiety for a long time, and your brain has developed ways of responding to life's challenges. Together, we will look at how your brain works, what you would like to change, and how you can begin to respond differently. We will focus on the future you want, rather than keeping you stuck in the past. I will meet you where you are, without judgement.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, so I want you to know what to expect. We will start with a relaxed initial meeting to discuss what's been happening and what you would like to change, free of charge. I will spend some time helping you to understand about the brain, and some of the neuroscience behind why you have been feeling the way you do and how I can help you to respond differently. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels right for you. There is no pressure to sign up to anything, and you can go away and think about it if you need to. If you decide to book in a session, we will look at how things have been going, your preferred future and how to get there. From there, we will work towards meaningful change, with skills you can take into everyday life. Sessions include guided relaxation and therapeutic techniques designed to help you access a more calm and focused state.
If anxiety or stress has been taking up too much space in your life, maybe now is the time to make a shift. I would love to hear from you - whether you're ready to book or you want to find out more, you're welcome to get in touch.
