About me
Sometimes people reach a point where the way they have always coped simply doesn’t work anymore.
You may have been strong, capable, and self-reliant for a long time. You may be used to thinking things through, keeping going, and handling what needs to be handled.
You may also have done a lot of thoughtful work on yourself already. You might understand the issue logically, have tried different ways to change it, and still feel that something deeper has not shifted.
You might notice the same fear, avoidance, self-doubt, emotional reaction, inner pressure or familiar pattern returning again and again - even when part of you knows it doesn’t make sense anymore.
This is often where hypnotherapy can be useful.
I work with the subconscious mind to explore how behaviours and emotional responses developed, and to support change at the level where those automatic responses are formed. My work is grounded in understanding. Rather than simply trying to manage the surface issue, we explore what the mind learned to do, why it made sense at the time, and whether it can now begin to respond differently.
My style is calm, clear, and grounded. We start by talking properly, so I can understand what has been happening and what you would like to change. Then I guide you into hypnosis - a calm, focused state where we can work with the deeper, more automatic part of the mind.
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent more than 20 years working with complex systems and people, including in senior IT leadership roles. That background shapes the way I work now. I naturally look for patterns, connections, and underlying mechanisms, and I aim to help people feel less confused by themselves and more able to move forward with understanding.
I offer online sessions, so you can take part from a private, comfortable space of your own. You can begin with a free 20-minute discovery call, where we can talk through what is bringing you here and decide together whether the Gentle Intro Session or Full Transformational Session would be the best fit.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the School of Rapid Transformational Therapy and qualified as a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Rapid Transformational Therapy® Practitioner.
My training covered the use of hypnosis and RTT techniques to explore the underlying beliefs, learned responses, and emotional associations that may be contributing to the issue someone is experiencing. It also included professional training in safeguarding, mental health awareness, equality and diversity, and data protection and confidentiality.
I continue to develop my practice through ongoing supervision and continuing professional development.

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice.
