About me

My name is Jeffrey Glick and I'm a practicing cognitive hypnotherapist based in Worthing, West Sussex.  Although I tend to work from a private first floor office near central Worthing, I'm more than happy to meet clients in the comfort of their own homes or conduct sessions remotely over the phone or via Zoom*.

My role, as your cognitive hypnotherapist, is to work in partnership with you, helping you to successfully bring about the positive life changes you want as your new reality. The changes you are seeking can be anything from being less stressed to experiencing a more fulfilling sex-life; from breaking free of unwanted thoughts or habits, to releasing the pain of a significant loss; from enhancing your physical health, to discovering your confidence and hidden talents.  Regardless of the changes you are after, my job is always the same.

In a sense I will be walking beside you as you move beyond the barriers that have historically prevented you from achieving your goals, whatever they may be.  I can do this because, as a cognitive hypnotherapist, I'm equipped with many techniques to help your unconscious mind find the right solutions to your problems.  So while I do not know what solution will work best for you, I do know how to help you discover what you know will work best for you by helping you unlock your inner resources... resources you may not have even known existed.

Ultimately, success boils down to a few fundamentals:  a comfortable, trusting relationship between you and me, as well as your willingness to actively participate in, and commit to, the work we will do together.  Above all though, you must believe change is possible, want change to happen and be willing to allow change to happen.

I can help you do this, but I cannot do it for you because it's your life and only you know how you want your life to be.  And... this is how it should be.  I will safely take you where you want to go, but I will not tell you where you should go, for that is no one's business, but yours alone.  So, think of me as your guide, assisting you to your chosen destination, at your chosen pace.

As you may have already noticed, I'm all about honesty and integrity.  That is why I will never make guarantees, give you promises of success or offer gimmicky package deals.  I know that you can succeed in making meaningful changes in your life and I can help on the journey, but I cannot make you succeed because your success is up to you.

You can feel confident that our work together has the ability to positively transform your reality, but to do so requires trust and a sense of comfort between us. So, when we first chat about what it is you wish to change, your personal goals, those things that have worked in the past as well as those things that have been less helpful, remember to notice the ease of our conversation.  If our conversation flows naturally, if you feel as though we are standing on similar ground, it's a good indication we will build a strong partnership based on mutual trust, respect and understanding – the ideal for successful cognitive hypnotherapy partnerships.

To find out more about what it is like to work with me, I invite you to visit my website, email me, or give me a call. I look forward to getting to know you and thank you in advance for giving me the opportunity to help you bring forth your positive, lasting, transformative change.

*Due to COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions currently enacted at my place of work, I am presently unable to guarantee that we will be able to meet face-to-face in an office setting.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and a practitioner certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) from The Quest Institute at Regent's University, London. Importantly, Quest's cognitive hypnotherapy methodology is the only hypnotherapeutic model in the UK supported by published peer-reviewed academic research.

I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association (QCHPA), and I hold both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.  Lastly, as required by the NCH and QCHPA, my work is supervised by a professional registered supervisor and I undertake a minimum of 10 hours of Continual Professional Development (CPD) training annually to ensure my skills and knowledge base are up to date.
