Hello I'm Helen I am passionate about empowering people to be happier, more successful and to thrive in their lives.  I do this by offering an integrative and innovative approach to wellbeing, learning and development leveraging coaching, positive psychological principles and various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy.  My extensive experience and diverse skill set enable me to drive impactful and sustainable change.

I am a wellbeing and leadership coach, consultant, teacher, lecturer and therapist working with people of all ages to help them create the life they want by developing their wellbeing now and for the future.  I am fully qualified with experience in the fields of human flourishing, methodologies, therapeutic interventions, education, research, teaching and learning.  I work with individuals and organisations to bring wellbeing alive through a coaching and positive psychological lens together with a mind and body based approach.  My integrative approach to wellbeing takes the form of a measured, coherent and an evidence based way of working.

I have many years of experience, insight and qualifications in the field of wellbeing, change and maximising human potential (psychology, positive psychology, coaching, mindfulness, energy psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, NLP and body based approaches (yoga, yoga therapy and somatics)).

I offer a supportive therapeutic service based on tried and tested approaches which is solution focused. For example, by combining Cognitive Behavioural  Therapy (CBT) with Hypnotherapy (Hypno-CBT) which is called Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) I can treat a wide range of areas of focus including anxiety, stress, phobias and low self confidence, self esteem, relationship issues, insomnia. I use a creative application of hypnotherapy, where I am socializing my clients to relate to their world, understanding that it is not the events that are affecting them but the way we think about them. I offer a solution focused and strengths based approach where there is the opportunity to combine several approaches to achieve very positive results and wellbeing tools for life.

I work with adults of all ages, organisations with a speciality of working in Higher Education Institutions.  I have a background in education, learning and development, coaching and positive psychology which includes experience of being a teacher, trainer, consultant and currently a lecturer.

I focus on wellbeing and positive change together with specific areas of focus which might include: Anger Management, Anxiety, Confidence, Career Change, Depression, Fears and phobias eg Exam Nerves and Fear of flying, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Motivation, Performance Issues, Relationship Issues, Weight Loss (Hypnodieting), Learning and Development and Stress.

Everything starts with a conversation and I look forward to speaking soon I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation - book today and see how we can work together make 2025 your year.
