About me

Hypnotherapy is a gentle and very safe treatment. It is also well known for working faster than conventional psychology as it goes straight to the source of your thinking and feeling so together we can help you release the old and embrace the new. With me its a partnership, I'm invested in your recovery.

The hypnotic trance is a very natural state of being and the myth of going "under" is just that, a myth. The trance like state is something we are all doing most days several times a day. For example when you end a car journey and can't remember the steps that got you there. Or day dreaming is another example. So everyone is very caple of this trance and no one can be made to do anything they dont wish to.

So hopefully now you are feeling more at ease and looking forward to a treatment session. But how do you know you want to choose me to come and see?

So here's a little about me:

Trained by the prestigious LCCH and a Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnotherapy (BSCH). I am also a supervisor and coach other hypnotherapists on how to best help their clients. I have been working as a hypnotherapist since 2007. Initially juggling a very busy corporate position at Managment level until family life called and gradually I weaned off the 8am to 7pm hours and dedicate my time in the direction of helping others full time.

I take you and your situation very seriously yet the sessions are relaxing and my clients tell me they feel better as they leave rather than how they felt as they entered! This is my aim, helping you to move forward happier, calmer, healthier in as quick as time as possible. To do this I work with your unconscious and conscious mind to help you to move trapped emotions. These trapped emotions may be linked to memories and behaviours may be in place to get you through these difficult thoughts in your head/ feelings in your body. After all we generally do anything to move away from to pain even if its actually harmful to our minds or bodies. Your Clinical Hypnotherapy sessions open you up to change this. So by using my techniques these are released and your mind and body begin to feel better. Now your anxiety is less, your are more interested in looking after your body so good habits come in as the bad ones go. Also those things you have been afraid of you can face and stop avoiding situations that you once did. Overall life gets easier, more enjoyable and you get back to your best.

Also its not all about eyes closed and direct suggestions with me, some of it will be alert with eye movements and interaction between us. I have a deep tool box of techniques and pride myself on thinking beyond the scripts.

For the best results you can practice some techniques at home that I teach you.

I am happy to work with you on any symptoms you have. In very rare cases I will refer you on if I feel you would do better with another therapist. Your therapy is about you not me!

I specialise in trauma (PTSD), changing negative thinking, anxiety, depression, pain both physical and emotional, stress, relationships, phobias.

I have a vast array of experience of different clients with many different concerns including cancer patients and their families, police officers, teachers, corporate workers, parents, children and the elderly. I am also able to work in schools and teach the Youth Mindfulness programme to 7 - 11 year olds.

I love seeing you through your journey which is why I have a package price to help make it a more cost effective solution. All clients need a different number of sessions and thats why you can use any remaining sessions on a treat of relaxation and meditation.

My rooms are both professional rooms. I dont work from my house. The rooms are comfortable with a cosy relaxed vibe and choice of chair for your comfort.

Any questions? Please be in touch and all initial enquiries are free and with no obligation.
