Hypnotherapy works equally well in a face-to-face setting, and using technology such as Zoom or Skype so distance need not be an issue.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training, a highly regarded hypnotherapy training school at the forefront of modern hypnotherapy delivery. I have a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), and have also attained the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), considered to be the 'gold standard' in hypnotherapy.
I regularly attended continued professional development sessions to continue my training and expand on my interests in the field of neuroscience and hypnosis, as well as reading extensively around the subject.
I have developed my own programmes in weight management (a 6 week kick start to changing your habits for long term results) and hypnobirthing, helping prospective parents have the best birth experience they can to welcome their new baby into the world - and I also teach other hypnotherapy practitioners about it.
Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.

Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

As well as working with individual clients on a one-to-one basis, I also give talks and workshops in businesses and organisations addressing stress in the workplace helping them to open the conversation on mental health and giving strategies to cope and build resilience.
I am a firm believer in giving people knowledge and strategies to prevent stress overload, so they can lead happier lives.
