About me

Hi! Thank you for choosing to find out more about the service I offer, and how I can help you. I am a fully trained and certified clinical hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, running a full-time practice since 2007.

I was based in the UAE for nine years before establishing my office in the central Cotswold town of Winchcombe, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Clients come to see me from the Cotswolds, London and overseas - I'm fortunate enough to receive a lot of word-of-mouth referrals from past clients.

Most clients prefer to visit me at a therapy room  - others enjoy the benefit of online sessions, staying in the comfort of their own home. Home visits can also be requested - it's completely up to you.

I trained intensively in America and London and regularly see clients with everyday issues e.g. fears, grief, pain management, IBS, weight management, addictions, school & sports performance, relationship issues, children's issues, public speaking, sleep disorders, COVID19 issues and much more.

In addition to this, I've undergone additional training leading to a specialism in medical and dental hypnosis. You can read more about this below, or on my website.

Hypnosis can help with a wide range of problems. So if you are having difficulties in your everyday life, I'd love to help you and put you onto the right track.

You can contact me for a free consultation by phone on 07599 555892, by email, or by attending my office to discuss how I can help you achieve a satisfactory outcome with your problem.

Client feedback

  • "I had a course of personalised hypnosis sessions with Fiona over a few months period in which we covered alot of personal development aspects through hypnosis. It was a very valuable and useful experience. Fiona is very personable and will make you feel at ease very quickly. Highly recommended."

  • I met Fiona Vitel in 2008, and discovered the transformational power of hypnotherapy during what turned out to be a significant period of change in my life. I wanted to experience what hypnotherapy could do for me in the hands of this compassionate healer, and in retrospect I am so grateful that I did.

Fiona’s empathetic nature, charisma, poise, sense of fun, and respect for her clients worked their magic on me. I am so glad I trusted her, believed in the work we did together, and opened my mind to the possibilities. My life has changed dramatically, and I wish her many blessings."

FEAR OF THE DENTIST’S CHAIR?

Hypnodontics is the art and science of using hypnosis to induce comfortable and pain free dental visits.

Many people are scared of visiting the dentist. I can help deal with whatever issue you might have such as discomfort, anxiety, panic, fear or phobia.

Hard to manage patients often put off going to the dentist until the pain or dental problem can no longer be ignored.

How Hypnodontics can help overcome fear of dentist visits:

  • Hypnosis is used to reduce stress and induce hypnoanethesia so that less medication is used.
  • Control can be achieved in many cases by direct suggestion or properly developed imagery, but sometimes more complex methods are required.
  • Fears and phobias include fear of needles, fear of pain, the sound of the drill, sights, sounds and smells of a dental surgery, fear that anaesthesia won’t work, lack of control, and choking or gagging.

Even your children can benefit.

The great news is that you don’t have to suffer or dread going to the dentist anymore. Your children can also benefit from Hypnodontics so they don’t live with the inherited fear of the dentist.

Hypnosis can assist in:

  • Elimination or reduction of tension, anxiety or fear of pain and related discomfort.
  • Accustoming the patient to orthodontic or prosthetic appliances.
  • Reduction of anaesthesia or analgesia during dental procedures and the elimination of the side effects they cause.
  • Control of salivary flow and bleeding.
  • Prevention of gagging and nausea.

The great news is that you don’t have to suffer or dread going to the dentist anymore.See how you can join in with the many who enjoy comfortable and stress-free visits to the dentist - call me today to make a consultation appointment.
