About me
Hi, I’m Donna and I am a Cognitive Hypnotherapist.
I am 'root cause' focused to help you get to the 'why' .
My training and extensive experience means that I can help people overcome a range of issues but my special interest is in working with people who want to live a life without overwhelming anxiety and alcohol addiction.
For years I believed that I didn’t have anxiety, that I didn’t ‘do’ anxiety. The truth is that I absolutely did. I hid it, pushed it away and obliterated it with alcohol. Basically, numbing all those feelings and emotions that I didn’t want to feel and drowning out the noisy, critical self-talk with it.
When I began to dig deep and gather together all the pains that I was running away from and self-medicating with alcohol l began to gain clarity on why those pains were there and what they were protecting me from. I began to grow as a person. My self-esteem grew, my confidence developed and my anxiety fell away.
I no longer need or want alcohol in my life.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully insured and fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitoner.
I trained with The Quest Institute at Regents University in London in 2012 and I have been practicing ever since.
I regularly attend CPD (continued professional development) seminars and workshops to keep my practice up to date.
I hold -
Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma
Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
I have also attend training on Addictions, Smoking Cessation, Confident Childbirth and EFT.
Member organisations
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
