About me

If you suffer with anxiety related disorders, I would love to work with you and help you find the happy, peaceful, calm and confident person you really are.

Some people want to feel like the person they used to be and others are hoping to make changes to achieve a completely new goal. Hypnosis allows access to the subconscious mind and can encourage positive changes which are of benefit to you. The sessions are enjoyable, you are fully in control for the whole time, feeling relaxed, calm and positive.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is about looking forward.

You are welcome to talk about the issues you are seeking support with but you don't have to if you prefer not. Together we will overcome any issues you have and would like to address through a combination of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT. Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Being aware of but not dwelling on the past whilst finding a positive way forward to the future.

Each session is approximately an hour long, and it's a very simple yet effective format. Every client is different and the number of sessions they need overall will vary. As a guide, for anxiety based issues it can be from 6 to 12 but some only need 4 and others occasionally 15 or 16. Usually Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is quicker at producing a successful outcome than traditional therapies.

I have considerable experience helping clients, online and by phone which works really well, and also face to face in the therapy centre. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy really is amazing in enabling people to find peace of mind and feel positive about their future.

Getting started.

The first appointment is an Initial Consultation, during which you will have the opportunity to tell me as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I'll explain about how the brain works and what we know from the very latest scientific research of why things can be difficult for us, so you can have a better understanding of why you are at a point of asking for support and how we can make changes for the better. We can identify your initial goals which we will then use to work with in subsequent sessions. Your goals may adjust as we go along but all will be related to achieving your desired end results. A free relaxation download (or CD if you prefer) is provided, listening to this on a regular basis helps consolidate our work together and encourages a regular sleep pattern.

My website displays testimonials from people who are happy to share how they feel about working with me, please do have a look at them.

I am registered with the Complimentary National Healthcare Council and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists and follow their strict codes of conduct and professional ethics. I am also fully insured and DBS checked.
