About me

I'm Anoosh, a qualified clinical hypnotherapist with psychotherapeutic training, offering a warm, compassionate and integrative approach to therapy. I am currently working towards UKCP registration as a hypno-psychotherapist and am a member of the National Society for Talking Therapies (NSTT) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH).

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress or a sense of being stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Perhaps you understand what you're struggling with but find it difficult to make lasting changes. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I believe therapy is not about fixing someone or taking away their difficulties, but about creating a safe, supportive space where experiences can be explored, understood and approached differently.

During a session with Ili Adato at the School of Systemic and Family Constellations, I came across a metaphor that has stayed with me: we all bring our own "hot potatoes" into therapy the challenges, emotions and experiences that can sometimes feel too difficult to hold.

As a therapist, I cannot simply take your hot potato away, because it belongs to your unique life experience. What I can do is sit alongside you, offering a compassionate space where we can explore what makes it so difficult to hold. Together, we can understand your experience, discover different ways of responding and develop the confidence and resources to manage it.

Life will inevitably bring new hot potatoes. My hope is that our work together will help you feel better equipped to meet future challenges with greater awareness, resilience and trust in yourself.

My approach is integrative and tailored to your individual needs. Depending on what brings you to therapy, I may draw on hypnosis, parts work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), NLP-informed techniques and dream exploration. I recognise the connection between thoughts, emotions, physical responses and past experiences, and believe there is no single approach that suits everyone.

It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, chronic pain, limiting beliefs or life transitions, rediscover their inner resilience and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship and aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where you feel heard, respected and supported at your own pace.

I offer in-person and online sessions, with a free initial 30-minute consultation.
