Introduction to non-violent communication (NVC)
Introducing the work of Marshall Rosenberg and the modality of non-violent communication (NVC), this workshop will explore how we express ourselves and how we hear others; and how we can increase our ability to create meaningful connections, both with others and with ourselves, and how we can empower our clients to do the same within their own relationships.
Effective, empathic, and non-judgemental communication remains at the heart of our work as therapists. NVC can help us deepen our own self-awareness in order to recognise and express our own feelings and needs, and to hear the underlying unmet needs of others, often expressed in unuseful ways, such as anger or violence.
The course is open to all student and qualified hypnotherapists, counsellors, NLP master practitioners and psychotherapists.
Our course abides by the code of ethics of the National Hypnotherapy Society and National Counselling Society.
The course fee includes course manual, lunch and light refreshments, and represents seven hours of verifiable CPD.
