Live Zoom: Diploma Clinical Hypnotherapy & Neurodivergence

About us

Why choose to train with Dr. Claire Jack? Our Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Advanced Neurodivergent Certification provides you with everything you need to establish a successful, supportive, ethical hypnotherapy practice. Courses are developed and led by Dr. Claire Jack, who has created specialised CPD hypnotherapy courses including HypnoMenopause®, HypnoIBS® and Somasense®. Claire is one of Psychology Today’s panel of experts, and a leading advocate and trainer in the field of hypnotherapy and neurodivergence.

Being a good hypnotherapist means gaining skills, and the course prioritises practicing with fellow students in a supportive environment. Your training includes ongoing business support, including 1-2-1 support from Claire, and access to our “Business Success for Introverts” training. It also includes access to our Diploma in Neurodivergent Coaching training programme, so that you can combine coaching and hypnotherapy in your client work.

What you’ll learn

This course is externally accredited and meets GHR and NCH requirements. This means you will cover everything taught in all accredited courses at this level. You’ll gain a fundamental understanding of what hypnotherapy is and how to work with clients seeking help for a wide range of issues, from weight loss to anxiety. You’ll learn how to apply solution-focused-hypnotherapy approaches, alongside acceptance hypnotherapy approaches, to help people move towards a point of self-compassion as they create the changes that feel right for them.

Alongside this learning, you’ll discover how and why traditional hypnotherapy approaches often fail neurodivergent clients. You’ll learn how to establish a neurodivergent-affirming practice, and you’ll also learn how to adapt your approach to neurodivergent processing styles including aphantasia, more concrete and literal thinking, and differences around emotional regulation and focusing.

What to expect

This is a hands-on course, and learning to work with your classmates and volunteer clients, with supportive, ongoing feedback is at the core of your experience. We understand, however, that classroom environments and group work can be challenging. We’ll invite you to share any needs or preferences you might have and are committed to supporting students who might themselves be neurodivergent, or who might have some concerns about learning as an adult student.
