Beyond trauma: hypnotherapy training for trauma, PTSD, and CPTSD
50% discount for Hypnotherapy Directory members, bringing the fee to £149.50
Beyond Trauma is a comprehensive, trauma-informed approach to working with PTSD, Complex PTSD and the lasting effects of trauma. Rather than focusing solely on revisiting traumatic memories, this programme recognises that recovery begins with helping clients feel safer, regulate their nervous system and reconnect with themselves.
Integrating contemporary neuroscience, memory reconsolidation, somatic approaches and evidence-informed hypnotherapy, it provides a structured yet flexible framework for supporting clients throughout every stage of recovery.
You'll learn how trauma affects the brain, body and nervous system, why symptoms persist long after danger has passed, and how to help clients build resilience, expand their Window of Tolerance and develop lasting emotional regulation. Where trauma processing is appropriate, the course introduces a range of carefully paced interventions – including symbolic reprocessing, imagery rescripting, ego state therapy, affect bridge work and hypnotic exposure – within an ethical, collaborative and trauma-informed framework.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all protocol, Beyond Trauma teaches practitioners how to adapt their approach to the individual sitting in front of them. Combining a complete eight-session therapeutic programme with practical resources, scripts and recordings, this training provides a powerful, evidence-informed model that enables practitioners to work confidently, compassionately and safely with clients affected by trauma.
Our training programs are meticulously crafted to provide cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills that address the evolving needs of your clients. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey, the Academy's courses are designed to ensure you stay ahead in the field of hypnotherapy.
You will receive everything you need to work confidently with your clients, including scripts, client handouts, resources, practitioner guides and a certificate which is externally accredited by the ACCPH and counts for 8 hours CPD.
