Testimonials

Stop Smoking

"I have to admit I was a be sceptical about hypnosis but Louise explained things logically and thought I would give it a go. I have tried to kick the habit for years but never been able to break the social triggers that led to me smoking. All I can say is Hypnosis worked, I can't tell you how or why but it did. Strangely it's not like I have to make an effort not to smoke, I just don't smoke any more."

Crises Management and Dog Phobia

"I was sceptical about hypnotherapy.... not because I doubted it could work, more that I doubted it could work for me!   Then about six months ago my world was rocked when my brother was diagnosed with  terminal cancer, I desperately wanted to spend time with him and be useful to him and his family but there was a problem, a stupid problem! - I've always been fearful of dogs and he had a BIG dog. The dog was part of the family... visiting my brother meant visiting the dog. Visiting the dog meant sweating, racing heart beat and looking around constantly to see where it was. This was not how I wanted to spend this precious time and I felt disappointed with myself that such a stupid irrational thing might prevent me from focussing on was was important.   An understanding friend suggested I seek the help of a Hypnotherapist and recommended Louise.

I had a session with Louise at her therapy room in Marlow and felt the benefit immediately - I saw the dog in a different light straight away but what was really amazing was that the effect seemed to strengthen as the weeks went by, my fear of the dog dwindled further every time I saw it.

Energy and Stress Management

Having never tried hypnotherapy before I was a little apprehensive before my first appointment, I needn't have been.  For anyone out there who has issues with confidence and low energy levels as I did, I cannot recommend enough visiting Louise. My issues were affecting my family life to the point where I wasn't showing them enough attention, especially my wife. The best thing about Louise's treatments was that they were not a crutch. This isn't something you will have to do every week for the rest of your life to solve your problems. Louise will release the energy and strength from within to help you help yourself. My issues were resolved within 2 sessions but I wouldn't hesitate getting in touch with Louise again to help me achieve other personal goals.

Phobia  & Anxiety about water – Competitive Sport

It went really well.

I couldn't believe how calm I was entering the water and the

Temperature of the water didn't bother me at all. I got a prep talk about my first experience but none of those materialised. The guys who were on look out couldn't believe it was my first open water swim.

It was an exhilarating experience and next time I'll beout there on my own pushing the boundaries a little further. Thank you so much for your help. It made a huge difference.

Confidence and Limiting Beliefs

I went to Louise to sort out a niggling feeling I'd had for some time. It wasn't a major issue, but it was big enough for me to realise that life would be better without it. I now know that these feelings are termed "limiting beliefs' - a very good description! Louise really took the time to understand everything about the origin of my limiting belief and came up with a plan of action which, under hypnotherapy, involved revisiting the belief's triggers and looking forward to the future. It's now nearly two weeks since my second and final session and I'm pleased to say it worked! The best way to describe how I feel now is "brighter". The old limiting belief simply doesn't belong to me any more. A great experience and a very powerful solution!

Interview Confidence

Having recently applied for a new and challenging role at work I begun to have doubts about my ability to be successful in the potential role. It was a repeating self-destruct behavior I recognized, but had never successfully combated in the past, so I sought a new approach by looking to Hypnotherapy to help me re-direct my energy more positively. Louise developed a script to help me focus on my strengths and build my self-confidence, looking on the positive skills I knew I had to offer. The work has helped me enormously, with Louise providing a personalised MP3 recording for self -confidence  I’ve also been able to continue building stronger foundation.  Although I didn’t get the job this time, it was an immensely positive experience and has helped me grow as an individual and focus my career development in another more direction.

Driving Phobia

"I came to see Louise as I've had a serious phobia of driving for 22 years.

I had a car accident at the age of 17, about 6 months after passing my driving test. It shook me up so much that I have only been behind the wheel a handful of times. And hated it each time. Even "imagining" getting into a car gave me heart palpitations, cold sweats, and a general feeling of panic and fear.

I had come to a point in my life where I craved my freedom again (I'm 39!) and I had to drive my husband back from a hospital visit where he was unable to drive. I booked an appointment with Louise for some extra help as she could see I was clearly struggling and embarrassed.

Louise took me through a series of gentle exercises initially and then she got me into a relaxed state with the power of her beautiful soothing voice and gentle commands. I was in a totally relaxed state. When I came out of the session, I felt like my whole body and soul had had a weight lifted off of it. That weight must have been my phobia!

I wasn't sure how the hypnotherapy could work as all I was feeling was relaxed. But it certainly made sense the next day...

I got into the car, started up the engine... drove the car for a full hour, with a huge grin on my face. Whatever Louise does, she is magic. I hope she changes your life too. "
