Profile

I currently run three private practices in Devon; two in the Mid Devon area and one in central Exeter. I am also a resident Hypnotherapist at NuBeginnings, a boutique weight loss centre in Ilfracombe, North Devon. I see clients with a variety of problems including stress, anxiety, phobias, addictions, habits, depression and unresolved issues from the past. I specialise in problems associated with weight control and psychogenic (unexplained) infertility. I also see clients who are interested in experiencing past lives.
In my sessions I combine hypnotherapy with techniques from NLP, CBT, Psychotherapy, EFT and Solution-focused Brief Therapy. I am also a trained practitioner of EMDR; a ground-breaking technique used in the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, having gained my Certificate, Diploma and Post-Graduate Practitioner's Diploma from the London College of Hypnosis (LCCH). I began practising as a Hypnotherapist in 2006. I have been a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) since 2006 and I am also a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR).
I have a degree in Social Science, where I specialised in Psychology. After graduating I worked for a Community Mental Health Team, where I supported clients living in the community with mild to severe mental health problems. This experience has given me a greater understanding of issues such as stress, depression and low self-esteem.
