Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapy - Life Can Be Better!
I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Counsellor and Complementary Therapist.
I have a private practice in Shaftesbury,Dorset.
Since 1995, I have worked in as a Complementary therapist and a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in private practice. I find this work very rewarding and worthwhile, as it can make such a difference to peoples lives. During this time I also worked as a Counsellor for people experiencing emotional distress and psychological problems. For the last five years I have provided treatments for Neals Yard Remedies, for clients in rehabilitation for drug/alcohol addiction at Clouds House and for Carers Support.
I wanted to find a treatment which was short-term, successful and empowering, which was why I decided to develop my career further and train in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy at the Clifton Practice in Bristol, one of the leading schools for Hypnotherapy in the UK.
Clincial Hypnotherapy uses Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, together with hypnosis. These techniques help to move you forward and focus on finding solutions to problems, setting and achieving goals and changing your life to how you want it to be.
I have a client base where I work with people who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety/panic attacks, depression, low confidence/self-esteem, as well as with phobias, relationship problems, pain and weight issues.
I feel it is a privilege to work with people who want to change their lives and it is wonderful to have found a therapy which is so positive and helps to promote lasting change.

Free Initial Consultation
This allows us to meet and for you to discuss any issues you wish to change. I will then explain how the sub-conscious part of your brain influences your issues and how Clinical Hypnotherapy can help. This is followed by an average of :-
8-12 weekly sessions for Anxiety and Depression
3-4 weekly sessions for Phobias
Up to one hour session is £40
One two hour session for Smoking Cessation is £80
Concessions considered for students or people on low incomes.
