About me

Hello, my name is Mike Ward and may I welcome you to my anxiety clinic Harley Street London, and Chandlers Ford Hampshire, specialising in the spectrum of anxiety, combining the principles of neuroscience and traditional therapeutic methods. Please see www.hampshireanxietyclinic.co.uk  www.londonanxietyclinic.co.uk

So you may be wondering how I can help you? A very good question and I will answer that here for you now.

What is involved in the sessions?

Firstly all contact will be treated respectfully and confidentially. You have the choice of a complimentary 30 minute consultation, or you can immediately go ahead and book a full assessment session. Within our first session it is an assessment and a hypnotherapy session so you can begin work straight away towards your outcome.

The complimentary 30 minute consultations book up rapidly each week, so please call or email now to confirm availability, just click on the contact me link to arrange.

I provide and deliver Professional and effective hypnotherapy and therapeutic interventions that will assist you in achieving the outcomes you want from your therapy. I use Hypnotherapy as a skilled communication to direct a person’s imagination towards their goals and in a way that helps to elicit the changes in some perceptions, sensations, feelings, thoughts and behaviours. My interventions are focussed and deliberate, from clients wanting to increase confidence, performance, and motivation, lose weight, to fears of heights and flying. You will find how you are able to reframe problem events, develop the ability to let go of critical and defeating thoughts, learning new behaviours, with a calm, confident and resourceful state. The items listed below detail many of the areas I work with successfully. Though I also specialise with panic, anxiety, negative thinking styles, stress, fear, depression and depressive symptoms, trauma and post-traumatic stress. For specific details about anxiety and stress please also visit my practice in London www.londonanxietyclinic.co.uk www.hampshireanxietyclinic.co.uk  & www.mcwprofessionaltherapies.co.uk for my practice in Hampshire.

How will I deliver?

I will respond to all contact with me within 24 hours, either by email or telephone as directed by yourself. All requests will be dealt with confidentially and I will advise of appointments that can fit with your availability. There is the added flexibility of either meeting me at our London office in Harley Street or in Hampshire. After reviewing your needs and what you want to achieve we will immediately begin working on the solution and discuss the approximate number of sessions required. On each session we will review your progress and adjust any interventions accordingly. This ensures we remain focussed on what you want to achieve.

What’s different about the interventions I provide?

I also provide 6 different therapeutic approaches, this allows me to tailor an approach to your needs, so along with hypnotherapy, if required we may use certain cognitive interventions (CBT), NLP or EMDR, the information on my websites explains what these therapies can be used for and how.

Remember

Please remember hypnotherapy is not about losing control, you are in control at all times and are able to respond  to any situation as you would normally. It is a very pleasant state of relaxation and trance, where your mind is open to the new suggestions so you can achieve your desired outcomes.

I work with the effects of combat, acute stress and ptsd, including violent crime, rape and childhood sexual abuse. Much of my learning and knowledge comes from working as a volunteer for nearly 10 years in an agency that provided therapy and crisis lines for clients who had or were experiencing domestic violence and sexual abuse.

As I work with a varied age group I hold a current DBS certificate and work with children, adults, couples and families.
