Fran is a Hypnobirthing and Fertility Specialist having completed her course in Harley Street in London now runs Hypnobirthing courses in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis. Everything is all done for you - you only have to want it to happen. Having a great deal of experience in clinical hypnosis means that any other niggling issues such as SPD, varicoes veins, and itching, fear of hospitals or needles can also be dealt with throughout the course, helping you to feel energised, sleep better, shorten your birthing time and helping you enjoy your pregnancy with as little medical intervention as possible. You will then look forward to using the techniques you have been taught for the birth. Your partner may join the course for one session (or more) to help work with you as a team as you both look forward to your new arrival. You will learn tools for the future, not just for the birth. Mums report to using these techniques and relaxation CD some years after. (see website for testimonials) Mums often report to visualising the reservoir views from my therapy window whilst giving birth. Hypnobirthing has been given the Royal Seal of Approval as Kate Middleton used hypnobirthing for the birth of Prince George.

Fran also specialises in treating patients who have had cancer and who feel that they want a more tailored therapy, helping them from when they are diagnosed and on their recovery during or after their cancer treatment. Fran has a lot of experience of helping clients at this often difficult point in their life and is now a trainer for the Macmillan Hope Course which is a self-management course for people who have or had cancer.
Due to her experience of working within the NHS, Fran treats patients for theatre preparation, including patients undergoing hip operations. Having your body and mind prepared for the much waited operation helps with the overall recovery from the procedure. I also received physiotherapist referral for patients who have undergone hip operations to help with their recovery.
More and more children and young people are suffering with anxiety disorders and Fran is able to help young people to overcome their fears and anxiety. This has lead on to her being a member of the Educational Perfomance Programme in helping school children being able to relax in order access their strengths particularly at exam time. The techniques that they are taught are for life and bring about such positive changes in order for them to live their life with a more positive attitude.
I am a full time hypnotherapist taking clients on a evening and on a saturday morning.
